The silver ducting is from a portable air con unit designed to stop the multi-million dollar machines overheat. The PSU fan on the PC pictured failed, and instead of replacing it, this baby kludge was born from momma kludge to duct cold air into the back of the case.
Hey bro can I borrow some cool air?
Redirects all of it.
Myself, I built a desktop a while back and I probably dust it once a year, but also do a mild cleaning whenever I upgrade a part. Usually just a simple wipedown and a couple of blasts from the ol' air canister and I call it good. What about you guys? Any special tips you use for getting rid of the gunk?
(bonus points if you post your own rig)
