From the submitter:

My new video card is rather LARGE, and there was only one slot on the motherboard which could accomodate it. It's VERY close to my sound card (which also cannot be moved), and I noticed a strange "ping..ping..PINGPINGPING" sound coming from the case. All the heat generated inside was making the entire video card warp slightly (this only occurs when playing Fallout 3 with LOTS of mods) and the fan was coming into contact with some of the solder points on the sound board! Yikes!

He had problems with overheating so he decided to fix it with little pieces of plastic? This should end well.

Hey, I'd like 512mb of RAM, a dual-core processor, extra fans and an SSD. Oh, and I want no GPU. And I mean no GPUs. You put a GPU on this thing and you're in big trouble, okay?! ~Not-So-Handy Andy

Myself, I built a desktop a while back and I probably dust it once a year, but also do a mild cleaning whenever I upgrade a part. Usually just a simple wipedown and a couple of blasts from the ol' air canister and I call it good. What about you guys? Any special tips you use for getting rid of the gunk?

(bonus points if you post your own rig)
