There are some things man wasn't meant to toy with. Google's open-source machine-learning software Tensorflow is one of them.

Cristopher Hesse used Tensorflow to create edge2cats, a program that turns line drawings into whatever you want, including horrible, horrible cats. It's a total nightmare, but also really funny.

Try it yourself here, check out some of these little freaks from Twitter.

Welcome to... TRAPPIST-1f?

That doesn't have the same ring to it.

Yesterday, NASA announced the discovery of seven new planets that are in habitable zones and might even have water. You know what that means! ESCAPE.

Lots of people are using the discovery of a new, livable world as a second chance, a failsafe for this whole Earth experiment, which can we just agree has been a total failure?

Check out how people are reacting:

What a time to be alive: impressively helpful woman finds a lost and homeless iPhone in a cab, proceeds to glean all private deals - whereabouts (address/where car is parked) - from an all too voluntary snitch of a Siri. For real though. Shoutout to Siri for not failing to dispel some intimate details to a total stranger. Imagine if this little live-tweeted tale took a turn down horror movie lane...just saying, suggesting really, that there are certain people out there that you do not want knowing where you live.

This fitness blog managed to cut out a slice of social media spotlight, and truly, found fleeting relevancy in the worst way possible. If their goal was to get our attention, they definitely didn't fail on that account. One does not address the everyday pizza-loving human on Twitter (a venue already prone to rage-ridden outbursts/tweet reacts); and tell them they shouldn't enjoy their doughy gift of the gods.

Yesterday, the world was shocked. Not by a scientific breakthrough or a spell-binding work of art. Not even a policy decision made by one of our world leaders — well, they might have been. No, the world was shocked because they suddenly realized that singer/songwriter John Legend looks like the cartoon aardvark Arthur.

Wow.

Even more shocking was the response from Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, which sent the world struggling to breathe.

The world might never be the same.

There are like two things worse than forgetting your headphones at home: Death and Sean Hannity. And even those are preferable when you're really behind on your podcasts and your headphones are sitting right on your bed.

Luckily, Twitter has become something of a support group for the forgetful. We're all here for you. Or should I say, we're all hear for you?  Get it. You get it. https://twitter.com/raaab/status/816708451996958720
