Instructables user dhouggy wanted to ride his bike indoors but didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a trainer or professionally-made roller. So with a couple 2x4s and some PVC pipe he was able to craft this working homemade model for just $50.

Sun Chao, a crafstman from Kaiyuan, China, spent 4 months working on this project. The result is a fully-functional bicycle made from over 10,000 Popsicle sticks. Its inaugural ride lasted 20 minutes and easily supported his 200lb weight.
