Folk band Bon Iver scored a Grammy for Best Alternative Artist and Best New Artist last night. Unfortunately, most Grammy viewers had never heard of Bon Iver before, or its frontman, Justin Vernon. Thousands took to Twitter to complain that "Bonny Bear" won over Nicki Minaj or J. Cole ("ugh, you mean i have to hear about someone who isn't rap or r&b?"), or to rag on Justin Vernon's homely haircut and corduroy outfit ("his style sux omg who cares about the music").

Ukranian folk-rock cover band Selo i Ludy perform Bon Jovi's "It's My Life" with traditional instruments in a traditional Eastern-European folk style. I'm starting to like it more than the original.

An Air Canada commercial flight was delayed on the runway for 20 minutes, so gypsy punk band Lemon Bucket Orkestra did what any band with time to kill and instruments on hand would do: play an impromptu four-song set. No word on whether they were rewarded with an extra bag of complimentary peanuts.
