Sadly, this isn't real, but a concept created by designer Dong Min Park. Five areas of the drum are covered with wax cloth stretched to five different elasticities for sound effects. I'm not sure if this would make a walk in the rain a glorious celebration of rhythm or a cacophony from hell.
