Dude Shows Up At Wrong House for Party, Looks Like Weirdo

It's pretty much every grown man's worst fear to look like an absolute creep. Like, in the top ten "things guys shouldn't shouldn't do" at least numbers 4 through 8 are some variation of "make it seem like you're friends with stranger's kids." It goes without saying why that precedent is in place, but there are good reasons for it. This guy had the less than comfortable experience of accidentally talking his way into a random girl's house. Interesting choice from the mom to just let the whole situation play out just to watch him suffer, but alright. Small errors can snowball out of control, like this guy who accidentally ate 420 dollars worth of beef.

Why anyone would go through the effort to re-engineer their 3D printer into a sandwich machine is beyond sense, until of course you see this baby in action. Obviously it would be faster, easier, cheaper and probably tastier to just make it by hand or just buy a sandwich, but then you wouldn't get to say you have a sandwich machine. In a sense, it's 3D printing a sandwich. Not actually, but definitely sort of!

Weird, Intriguing and Not Great DIY Projects

Creativity is a good thing, but sometimes our creativity gets in the way of our sense and we end up making impressive creations of questionable taste. And that's not to say this stuff is useless either. People create effective low budget DIY solutions for their problems all the time. It's just that some ideas in practice tend to lack...uh... grace.

Entitled Folks and Their Astounding Boldness

It's absurd, the things entitled people will demand. Most people have a basically realistic view of the things one should expect another person to go out of the way to do for them, but there are a select few who have no idea. Influencers will leave bad reviews for restaurants that don't give them free food. People will post a job listing for a nanny position and end up not actually paying any money. Customers will get mad that the company they buy stuff from also gives some of their product to charity. It's a wild world out there full of entitled people with their absurd audacity.

Entitled Classmate Gets Raw Potatoes for Snack Day

It's a whole lot presumptuous for this classmate to insist on a whole new snack day inspired by this person's free donuts, but they seemed to have gotten the picture. For another funny story of someone refusing to be bullied about donuts, here's a new employee who is not having free donut day.

Bragging Brain Lords Who Believe They're Geniuses

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being smart. The world needs smart people. Like a lot. The problem is that dumb people have a tendency to think that they're smart. It could be caused by narcissism. It could be due to the fact that social media gives people a whole lot of space to talk about themselves. Either way these brain tyrants who think they're literal geniuses have a peculiar way of somehow being condescending and stupid at the same time. It's maddening.

Tumblr User Spite-posts Mother's Meatloaf Recipe as Revenge

It's one of the more novel and petty forms of revenge we've seen, but damn if it's not compelling. This tumblr user wanted to get back at their homophobic mother in a public show of force, so they landed on sharing her prized meatloaf recipe with the whole-ass internet. It also inspired another user to compile an entire compendium of spite recipes. They say revenge is a dish best served cold, but in this case it's a whole cookbook. There's never a dull moment when it comes to random tumblr gems.

RPG Creator Points Out The Geographical Absurdity of New Orleans

Co-Creator of Pathfinder @Jameslsutter has enough experience in fantasy cartography to know when a place is supposed to look believable or not. His diagnosis is that Louisiana has done a great job of convincing him that New Orleans exists when in fact it's laid out like a real not my job, "4:30 on a Friday" kind of map-making project. For fans of fantasy, here's a Tumblr thread on the theory surrounding Dwarves' super intelligent beards.

Thread Proves Even Insurance Can Become Fan Fiction

People will fanfic anything and there is no way to escape it. Even if you're just an insurance mascot. This would be a lot worse if it were some tacky native advertising scheme to make insurance companies seem quirky, but in this case it really looks like people make insurance fan fiction for the love of the game. For some more unbridled creativity people threw together, here's an awesome tumblr thread about being a human on a Vulcan ship or this tumblr thread imagining college students living with the Addams family.

Tumblr Thread: Being a Purveyor of Fine Clown Meats

In most cases, someone offering to tell you about a dream they had is the most boring and stupid waste of 5 minutes you can engage in. But when it's from the twisted mind of a tumblr user, and it's about operating an all-clown meat deli, it's really hard not to pay attention. It's got action, crime, drama, science and most importantly a whole lotta clown meat. Here are some more funny, random and shiny tumblr gems.

Creepy Times People's Kids Mentioned "Past Lives"

Kids are weird and they lie a lot, but there's a really strange tendency for three and four-year-olds to mention "back when I flew helicopters in 'nam" or "my previous mother wasn't as nice as you." Is it a weird combination of dreams they had, the power of suggestion, and the fact that kids sometimes don't know what they're saying? Almost certainly. Is it also extremely creepy when a very small child insists that they were a crooked cop who was buried in an unmarked grave? Very much so, yeah. Here's a twitter thread of people's kids saying similarly creepy stuff.

Known to some, but definitely not known to enough, Arnold Shwarzenegger was featured in quite a few ads in Japan in the late 80s and early 90s. There are way more than this one. It's not uncommon for American celebrities to shill themselves in other countries where they won't cheapen themselves in the eyes of their domestic audience. But that doesn't make it any less funny to see Snoop Dogg bust out of a refrigerator to sell German cell phone services. Honestly, money aside it would be very hard to turn this type of offer down. It has a very "do it just to say you did" quality to it.

Outdated Advice That Just Doesn't Make Sense Anymore

It's not like anyone wants to give you bad advice. Well, maybe these hilariously bad and dumb life pro tips might be exactly that. This incredibly dumb financial advice also falls into the category of "straight up don't do this." That said, times change and some previously ubiquitous good ideas find themselves no longer belonging, whether it be due to evolving technology, changing social ideas, or the rapid decline and corruption of various institutions.

"Not My Job" Moments Of Effortless Unprofessionalism

Work is a necessary evil. Doing stuff basically sucks, but it's better than being hungry, wet and cold all the time, so the choice is pretty obvious. Naturally, most of us try to get through the day employing as little effort as possible, and sadly for some of us it really shows. "Not my job" moments of failure fill up our streets and living spaces, providing at least some ironic consolation that everyone, not just you, is doing the bare minimum. These moments of dubious professionalism are far from our best work, and it shows.
