Trees Munching on Stuff

When it comes to man made stuff versus trees, it's easy for us to win the battle, but over time, vegetation wins the war. In only a few years trees overgrow the stuff we shove into them and cover them with, and it looks remarkably like they're straight up eating it. It's common to see hungry trees enveloping stuff.

Trees overgrowing signs and objects so it looks like they're eating them.

Man Discovers Everybody Doesn't Have Internal Dialogue

Kyle happened upon quite the startling discovery, when he realized that not everyone has an internal dialogue process. Some folks in fact have non-verbal thoughts, and need to consciously verbalize them. Yes, some folks need to talk out loud at the mirror to have a pep talk with themselves. Trippy, for some. Kyle's day was apparently all shook up, and the world as he saw it, had changed.

Guy discovers that not everyone has an internal dialogue | Kyle @KylePlantEmoji Fun fact: some people have an internal narrative and some don't As some people's thoughts are like sentences they "hear and some people just have abstract non-verbal thoughts, and have consciously verbalize them And most people aren't aware other type person

Mark is out here hooking it up with great advice on how to grow eight different kinds of vegetables at home, in a hurry. He manages to crack some jokes throughout the informational presentation as well. Love it.

All that shaking amounted to a glorious display of nothing. A lovely video that gets right to the point.

So, it turns out watching everyday objects in macro is intensely satisfying. How about that toilet paper? Has one ever feasted their eyes on anything so beautiful?

Probably didn't expect a video of a tank of marine life that's eating a carrot to be relaxing, but here we are. Life is a strange and beautiful thing.

Some people might find this dude's mission (a successful one at that) to spy on scammers more satisfying than ASMR. Jim is truly a hero of some kind.

He looks like he just got off work from teaching 8th grade chemistry. This is Kenneth Petrie of the band Mr Spanky and the HipThrusters delivering a particularly awesome solo. The look doesn't exactly match the sound.

Tumblr Drops Intriguing Knowledge on Ancient Female Pharaoh

Apparently by trying to erase the long and successful reign of this pharaoh, using her stuff as wall filler and throwing all her junk in a dump, they accidentally ended up preserving it. Pretty neat. Tumblr reviews some wild corners of history, like this thread that actually makes history fun. Here's another archaeology themed Tumblr thread about craftspeople being able to identify things that archaeologists couldn't.
