Company Insists On Server Not Being Fixed, Massive Fallout Ensues

Some people and companies really are their own worst enemies. In this particular tale of tech support absurdity we get to sit back and witness the inevitable fallout of a company insisting that their faulty server shouldn't be fixed. This story also shows the importance of getting everything in writing. Those emails can end up being very helpful when it comes to keeping the incompetent folks accountable for their self created failures.

Check out some more tech support glory with this man who insisted that he knew better than IT and then learned otherwise

Unprofessional "Not My Job" Moments of Failure

Most of us will do whatever it takes to avoid doing our actual jobs. For some, it's almost a challenge to see how much we can get away with not doing. Our drive to not do any actual work leads to some impressive "not my job" moments of professional ineptitude. Toilets get installed sideways, billboards get crammed with typos, and things go awry in these "not my job" moments of professional failure.

This guy's approach to trying to access a textbook couldn't be more faulty. Like, my man, it's seriously time to reassess the life strategy. Most Hypocritical Behavior People Witnessed

Someone on AskReddit fired up a thread about the most painfully hypocritical behavior that people ever witnessed. Few things in this life bring one's blood to a boil like witnessing someone do the very thing that they openly condemn everyone else for. It's a gross display of ignorance and pretty much some of the most unbecoming behavior that one can adopt.

Customer Tries To Scam Bar For Free Drinks, Non-Alcoholic Revenge Ensues

Nothing's worse than dealing with an entitled cheapskate customer who thinks that they can just go ahead and scam a hard working restaurant for free food and drinks by complaining about said food and drinks, eating/drinking said food/drinks, and then getting more right thereafter. That just isn't how the world works. Sometimes folks need the wakeup call. In this case the watchful bartender decided to intervene and serve up a belligerent Karen customer some non-alcoholic revenge. Tastes pretty dang sweet.

Man Tells Girlfriend She Doesn't Work Hard Enough For Salary

Yikes. When it comes to the kinds of things that you should absolutely never say to your partner (or anyone, really) this dude just added a new one to the pool. If you have a partner who is rocking a badass salary, and then you proceed to try and knock them down by trashing them for not working hard enough, you are in dire need of a little life assessment time. Clearly, this dude's got a whole lot of toxic nonsense boiling underneath the surface.

Parking Lot Bully Snipes Driver's Parking Space, Petty Revenge Ensues

Parking lots inspire all kinds of acts of petty revenge. People seem innately predisposed towards getting impatient and flat out rude behind the wheel. This can manifest in folks cutting each other off and taking parking spots that were clearly not their spots to begin with. Well, when this parking lot bully decided to act a fool they didn't anticipate the driver that they messed with responding in kind with a solid, deserved petty revenge. Most Obvious Lies People Were Ever Told

The thing about crossing paths with a pathological liar is that they're so caught up in the process of keeping up with their various lies that at some point they seem to start believing them, themselves. It's both a disheartening and vaguely humorous situation to come across. On the one hand you can feel that compulsion to snap them out of their obvious game of lying to everyone they cross paths with, but you also don't want to be the truth-telling straw that broke the camel's back.

Karen Assumes Customer Works At Liquor Store, Reality Check Ensues

Oh man, that must've been real satisfying. Nothing quite warms the heart like one customer putting another rude and belligerent customer in check. It sounds like this particular customer was in the right place at the right time when Karen showed up looking for her precious wine coolers. All this quick little tale's missing is a round of applause from everyone else that was in the store.

Beyond Entitled Karen Expects Complimentary Boat Privileges

We never know what ignorant acts of belligerent entitlement that the world's Karens are going to throw our way next. Some times are more dramatic than others. In this case, we have a Karenzilla dropping in out of the blue to bombard some family with aggressive entitlement as she says that her and her family will be using their new boat because she's just so loved and adored. It's usually the most blindly ignorant individuals that assume the best about themselves. The dumbest thing, really. Customer Rejects Fancy Steak, Offers It To Friend, Won't Pay For New One

This could potentially divide folks. On the one hand you've got plenty of customers looking to save a dime that also don't really care about the quality of a meal as long as it's edible, and would gladly eat the extra food being offered to them. On the flip side though, if restaurants were to let customers just reject pricey meals, offer them to friends, and then get another free meal in the process that could end up really adding up for the restaurants. You be the judge though, was this restaurant in the wrong, or was their decision totally reasonable?

The Best Bad Ideas People Committed To

Someone on AskReddit got a thread going about the best plain old bad ideas that people decided to commit to anyways. Humans can be amazingly stubborn creatures that are prone to standing by undeniably bad ideas, just because they don't want to spend any more time and energy on pivoting into a plan that actually might work. The good news in this strange universe of constant unpredictability is that these bad ideas actually ended up shaking out favorably for the people that saw them through.

Dad Fires His Son for Stealing from Work

Nothing adds to the entitlement just like the whole "boss's kid" mentality. At least the dad went and did something about it. The kid even tried to frame another employee. For some more work-related foibles, here are the fastest ways people's co-workers got fired. For another kid stepping way over his bounds, here's a manipulative son who tried to sell his mom's house and cancelled her job interview.
