Social media has a steep learning curve for the old. It's a lot of folks using the laughing emoji when sharing sad news, accidentally posting their sordid google searches as their statuses, printing out memes, believing even the most absurd satirical new articles, and speaking in all caps. But we gotta cut them some slack, cause these old people are trying their best on social media.

There are certain jobs in this world where the room for inevitable failure is far more forgiving than others. If anything, it's an AskReddit thread like the one we have here that could deepen your appreciation for the trivial moments of error that you've encountered throughout your gig that seemed so important at the time. The reality is that things can pretty much always be worse. 

It really sounds like the jellyfish museum was trying to help this woman out, but for whatever reason she decided to adopt quite the stubborn rule-breaking attitude. Naturally, this attitude results in her acquiring the very painful jellyfish sting that she was warned about. And then she proceeds to want to sue the museum. This call for a suing gave way to her being labelled a Karen. So, the question here is whether or not the person who called the Aunt a "Karen" was in the wrong. Folks in the comments section seem to be in agreement that this wasn't so out of line. Of course, nobody likes being labelled a Karen. The thing about it is, when you live down to the stereotype, being labelled a Karen shouldn't be such a wildly unexpected turn of events.

One of the things that makes human beings unique is our ingenuity. For example, the famous cookie tin/sewing kit. Why should we all be free to go about our days without hearing from the entitled people and total Karens who are ready to call the cops because they didn't get a free cookie with their purchase? Variety is the spice of life, but entitled people are the metal shavings one finds in their BLT.

Controlling behavior is gross. Everyone's just out there trying to lead their lives without having to deal with the terrible manipulative tactics that some of the world's more toxic individuals insist on carrying out. It sounds like this guy chose to go down the post-breakup route where he was trying to keep the flames of a relationship that had flickered out alive, by keeping the phone line open for nasty arguments. Yikes, man. With all of that context being covered, it's no big surprise that this woman and her friends found themselves thinking that selling the guy's stuff was the move after the way he chose to handle things. Especially because he got rid of her stuff. If anything, seems like she dodged a real bullet.
