feel good

This widowed Aussie old timer got more than he bargained for, in the best way possible, when he posted an ad to a local website looking for a new 'fishing mate'.

The internet got a hold of his ad and recirculated it on sites like twitter and imgur, and before long he had been flooded with support and offers to go fishing.

Someone even went and started a gofundme for the old bloke to send him on a fishing trip.

From the description:

"We're just a couple of guys who have heard Rays story and want to see him have a good fishing trip.
At the moment the cost is to cover his return flight from Adelaide to Sydney and back home, accommodation, food expenses and any costs associated to get him fishing. Anything left will go to Ray himself or a charity if he chooses as such.
Should we raise above the required limit we can look at sending Ray around the country to fish with a few different people."

It's always nice to see people rally behind a good cause

It appears 'Blessed Images' is a Twitter account dedicated to spreading good vibes, much like a wholesome memes kind of situation. We can definitely get behind this.

Jack Weaver suffers from Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a genetic disorder that delays development. According to his mom, Shannon, he's been having a particularly hard year. Since Christmas is his favorite time of year, she thought that a card or two might help cheer him up so she asked the internet and the internet delivered.

More than 50 cards have already come in, many of them with sweet messages to Jack like this one:

Shannon says that any gifts they receive will be donated to the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital where Jack has spent a lot of time.

Here's Elsa like you've never seen her before: with a five o' clock shadow.

The Boston Bruins chose a "Frozen" theme this year in their annual Halloween visit to the Boston Children's Hospital, and the photos will melt your cold, cold heart.

Dougie Hamilton and Matt Fraser arrived as Elsa and her sister Anna, with the rest of the players going as Kristoff, Sven, Hans and Olaf the snowman.

The guys even attempted to sing their own version of "Let It Go," according to Sports Illustrated.
