If I've said it before, I've said it a hundred times: Nothing makes a fight better like someone's pants falling down.

Here we have a classic example of why racism will get you smacked. According to the video, this guy got "jumped by some black people so he's a little pissed off." He's at the convenient store complaining about it, while a woman is trying to live her goddamn life. As these things tend to go, he keeps using the n-word, and "he kept on doing it to her over and over again." What happened? I think you can figure it out:

It goes without saying that racism will get you beat up. Sorry, but that's just how the world works. You can't just be blaming one problem you had on a whole group of people, and more so than that, you can't be using the n-word.

But man, is there anything more pathetic than getting beat up and then having your pants fall down. So good.

Netflix Drops New Death Note Trailer, People Proceed to Fall Into Fit of Blind Rage Over 'Whitewashing'

If there's one thing the denizens of Twitter, the Internet, the world really, are good for; it's banding together and taking up arms to stage a rage-fueled protest against anything remotely or absolutely evident of the proverbial 'whitewashing'. George Takei led the charge somewhat recently on that whole Doctor Strange business. Netflix went and kicked the hornet's nest with their new trailer for Death Note

Ghost in the Shell's Viral Marketing Campaign Became a Viral Roasting Campaign

You can't white wash memes.

The upcoming live-action adaptation of the influential anime and manga Ghost in the Shell has faced a huge backlash for white washing the story's Japanese origins. Basically, people are none too happy with the fact that Scarlett Johansson, a white woman, is playing a Japanese character, another example of the classic Hollywood tradition of giving Japanese roles to white actors. Even John Oliver asked how white washing is still a thing:

So people are still asking how is this still a thing through the magic of Ghost in the Shell's social media meme generator, which allows users to make their own personalized poster. However, people are just using it to call attention to the film's white washing. See:

People Lose It On Twitter Over Sexist and Racist Cartoon That Ends Up Being About Fetish Porn

In light of the unsettling realization about what the cartoon actually is, I can (try and) appreciate the "artist's" intentions here were coming from an allegedly good enough place. But I mean, damn, they should've seen the blowback coming on this one at some point. It's almost impressive. In a single cartoon they didn't fail to hit many of the widely-known trigger points. You know...sexism, feminism, etc.

Watch this Silicon Valley Star, the Late Roger Ebert, and more Destroy Rob Schneider After John Lewis Tweet

The Rob-meister.

Yesterday, everyone was talking about ¡Rob! Not the failed TV show, Rob Schneider, the man know for inhabiting very stupid movies, like Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, The Animal, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The Hot Chick, and other stupid things.

Yesterday, following John Lewis describing our billionaire, reality-TV gameshow host president elect as “illegitimate," Schneider snapped back with this ill-advised tweet:

Needless to say, Twitter wasn’t crazy about Rob Schneider, a comedian who spends most of his time in Adam Sandler vacation movies, lecturing a Civil Rights-hero on Civil Rights. So they let him know.

Jimmy Fallon had quite conundrum on his hands when he hosted the Golden Globes this year. When his teleprompter went down, he wasn’t quite sure what to do.

So the consummate professional and presidential-hair tussler decided to bust out some of his classic impressions. What did he turn to? Neil Young? Nope. Jerry Seinfeld? Nope. Donald Trump? Nope. In the year 2016, he did his Chris Rock impression, and, ew, boy, people did not like it.

This isn’t the first time he’s done Chris Rock. The impression jogged the memory of Super Deluxe’s mad editing genius Vic Berger who cut together the Golden Globes with that time Jimmy Fallon impersonated Chris Rock on SNL… in black face.

Fallon isn’t the first performer to don that infamous racist makeup, and, unfortunately, he isn’t the last. This video, which cuts together his awkward Globes performance with his offensive SNL one, is cringe-inducing and hilarious.

Enjoy!
