daftmike, an avid gamer, built his own version of a mini NES using a 3D printer, a Raspberry Pi mini computer, and some NFC chips; and it all comes complete with a fully functional cartridge slot. It somehow gets better though...using an app on his phone he can reprogram each cartridge on the fly.
This dude's comment on the original video perfectly sums up how I'm feeling about all this right now:
In less than a month Pokémon GO! has taken this planet by storm. Look around you, and you're apt to see someone with a fixed gaze on their phones, swiping upwards aggressively, scowling at their screens, trying to catch 'em all. It's insane how big this game is. Pokémon GO! is more popular than Tinder right now, and was more popular than porn for a brief bit of time as well. Plus Pokémon GO! is tracking more than 21 million daily active users, so that's pretty damn chill...
How Rezephos flew through Super Mario World without getting a single mushroom, fire flower, cape, star, or Yoshi...we may never know. There were some truly miraculous achievements at Summer Games Done Quick 2016 this year. These are some of our favorites:
I don't understand this game, yet I find myself intrigued. Catherine's a puzzle-platformer for Xbox 360 and PS3. You play as a laid back dude named Vince Brooks who dates a lady named Katherine, only to end up falling into a love affair with a sex kitten named Catherine. See what they did there? Juggling two love interests almost always gives way to a full-fledgted sh*tstorm, but 'Ghoul02' upped the ante by playing through the game using two controllers at once.
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
In this run, 'druvan7' gases up and destroys the All Cup Tour in speed demon fashion.

For those unaware, Koffing's a pokémon that exudes gas (uhhhh)...The Washington Post reports that the holocaust museum director said the following regarding the Pokémon GO developments:
“Playing the game is not appropriate in the museum, which is a memorial to the victims of Nazism,” Andrew Hollinger, the museum’s communications director, told The Post in an interview. “We are trying to find out if we can get the museum excluded from the game.”
