Entitled Neighbors Treat Man Like Free Handyman, Man Puts Neighbors In Check

The audacity of these neighbors and that one woman at the end of this guy's gnarly story is mind blowing. What kind of human beings go to such disgusting lengths to completely invade a hard working guy's space, to trouble him with requests about fixing their houses for free. It sounds like there was never any talk about actually compensating the poor guy for his help. Instead they adopted insane levels of entitlement. The moral judges of Reddit's AITA community were in collective agreement that this guy did nothing wrong when he reality checked them.

Knowledgable Boss Is Underestimated, Proceeds To Win Tech Support

We've seen our fair share of bosses that never should've been put in their places of power in the first place. With that being said, it's nothing short of deeply satisfying to see a boss show the rest of the world why they were given the reins like they were. This boss pulled off some straight up tech support magic, and left everyone else in speechless awe. Pretty awesome that she was able to extract that number in under 8 minutes. You don't even need to know what that means to appreciate the timely manner with which she pulled it off.

Bride Sends Wedding Guests 30-Day Diet Plans, Outrage Ensues

Weddings have an uncanny knack for bringing out the worst in people. Maybe it's because weddings are these momentous events that bring with them an insane amount of build up, nervous anticipation, and the reunion of various family members that should basically be kept as far apart from one another as possible. With that being said some folks just become possessed by this toxic sense of perfectionism where they're so committed to making sure that nothing goes wrong, that they end up creating a complete chaotic mess of stress in the process. In this case, we're dealing with a bride who has the unreal audacity to send all of her guests 30-day diet plans. That seems like a great strategy if you want to rest assured that you're going to have a ton of people not want to attend your wedding. People are already going out of their way to set up their own busy life schedules so that they can make an appearance for your special day, and then you hit 'em with an aggressive, totally unrealistic diet plan amidst that? So. Much. Yikes. This guy's reaction seems completely warranted when considering the circumstances. There are certain lines you just don't cross. While weddings seem like they can blur some of those lines, because people will put up with a certain amount of nonsense for the ones they love, this particular move by the bride is downright inexcusable. If anything, it sounds like she could massively benefit from being given a little reality check.

We're no strangers to seeing people being served up reality checks in other parts of life at this point. It could be a rude choosing beggar with a gnarly case of entitlement, who insists on wasting the time of an artist who is hard at work and just trying to survive off the funds they can make while practicing their craft. But alas, it seems that this world will never be in short supply of folks that fell through the cracks when it comes to practicing common social decency. They're blinded by a cloud of ignorance so thick that sometimes it's as if the reality checks themselves are pointless. You've got to wonder on some level whether or not this bride would even benefit from a reality check herself. It seems like she's opted for the defensive road based off the argument she already had with her brother. On top of that, the poor guy has to deal with what sounds like an enabling family and indifferent groom that aren't interested in helping him resolve the matter at all. Still have no idea what she was thinking when she sent one of those diet plans to her mother who is diabetic as well. Like, how is that even real life?

All in all, it's quick little tales like the one we're provided in this AITA post that can remind us that there are always going to be folks out there that are stooping to new lows for when it comes to being a morally righteous individual. We really do hope that they were able to figure out some kind of peaceful resolution.

Bridezilla sends all of her wedding guests 30-day diet plans. | past few weeks were filled with drama. My M33 sister's F36 wedding is 2 months. Hosted at my mother's house. Collectors' "Holy Grail" Items

We're no strangers to the fascinating developments that can come of a gathering of a collectors. Take the antiques roadshow events, for instance. Those have an uncanny knack for surprising us all with people that show up thinking they're just trying to pawn off some cheap junk, and end up walking away with stacks on stacks of cash. With that being said, let's take a look at some of the holy grail items amongst collectors. If you have any of these lying around the house, you very well might have a pay day looming on a promising horizon.

Worst Valentine's Day Gifts People Received

Valentine's Day rolls around once a year to either throw the world's hopeful romantics into a lustful frenzy full of promise and loving gifts and positive energy, or it can push other folks into a misery-drenched state of loneliness unlike anything they normally experience on a daily basis. It's a highly commercialized "holiday." Many people end up digging deep into their bank accounts, and dishing out the big bucks on fancy meals that would otherwise never be considered. Obviously, this year's a bit of a curveball for everyone. Like, can you even get into a restaurant in the first place? And if you decide to go that route for the Valentine's Day date, is it really something that you're comfortable with considering the circumstances of this tumultuous time? Outside of that though, the process that can go into trying to get your special someone a meaningful gift can be a nerve-wracking one, riddled by self doubt. All this pressure can build up over whether or not you're actually getting something that they'll appreciate, or if you're just unknowingly digging yourself a deep hole because you failed to get them something that reflects how well you know them, and how much they mean to you.

Maybe, there's all this momentum around Valentine's Day because of the sea of sappy Rom Coms we have available at our disposal. Romantic movies can end up contributing toward this overriding narrative that you need someone to be happy, and if you end up with that special someone, you're obligated to provide them gifts on Valentine's Day. Who knows? To each their own. Everyone will naturally do it a little different.

With respect to this AskReddit thread though, we have people sharing the very worst of the Valentine's Day gifts that they've ever received. Can you imagine just being in the same room as someone who was receiving one of these gifts? The amount of awkward silence that must've ensued after some of these gift exchanges, must've been palpable. I mean, hey, you live and you learn. Sometimes you end up fully committing to a gift for your partner that you've deluded yourself into thinking they'll like, and not completely loathe.

We can all fall prey to bouts of well intentioned confusion. If you're lucky you'll be able to get away with a wipeout on a Valentine's Day gift by riding the "it's the thought that counts" wave. Because at the end of the day, it really is. If you have an agreement with your partner where you guys are game with giving each other Valentine's Day gifts, then it's really up to the both of you to not be too critical of one another when the gift exchange part of the process rolls around. Or, maybe the silly banter and roasting of each other is one of the funnest parts of the whole situation. All in all, we hope that these Valentine's Day gift fails make you feel a little bit better about any unfortunate moments you've experienced on Valentine's Day.

An unfortunate amount of us have fallen prey to the temptation of a food challenge at a local business at one point or another in our lives. It could be getting caught up in the excitement of the moment, maybe paired with an underlying competitive drive, but when it's all said and done those food challenges have an uncanny knack for completely messing people up. That's why restaurants offer the discounts/free meals that they do if you actually end up being able to complete the challenge in the first place. This person certainly learned their lesson in the way of painful, burning regret after trying to complete their burger challenge.

Incompetent CTO Refuses To Fix Company's Security Flaw, Revenge Ensues
