Sometimes you need to take a deep and emboldened dive into the world of unapologetic cringe to remind yourself that it can always get a bit worse. The fascinating thing about cringeworthy content as well is that it's one of those strange things where you pretty much hate to look at it, but also can't stop. Like it gets under your skin in the worst of ways. 

If you've ever found someone special to share some time with in this mad world, you've likely participated in carrying on some hilariously dumb but highly addictive bit with your partner. You probably had no idea why you were doing it, and why it was so funny without fail every time, but you continued to do with admirable, stubborn persistence. 

Apparently there are a whole lot of people in this world that just don't recognize Tony Hawk when he's out in the wild. It must be somewhat nice for him; he doesn't have to deal with rabid fans storming his presence when he's out and about. But, he also has to deal with the occasional observer who thinks they know him from somewhere, but can't quite place it. At least Tony Hawk's a good sport about it. 

There's no denying that times were just simpler when we were kids. Some of the biggest things we had to worry about back in the day were minor homework assignments, or just getting to class on time. As you grow older though, the whole world seems to become infinitely more complex and prone to an infuriating, endless procession of problems. These tweets certainly do a solid job at portraying the emotional rollercoaster that is adulthood. 

Man, you never want to underestimate the power of an enhanced magical cookie. This cat was certainly in for a wakeup call when they decided to play around with the magical cookie. We're just glad that everything worked out and that the adventurous cat is okay. 

Man, there's something about the mind blowing audacity of people that just let their worst thoughts go in the comments sections of otherwise reasonable posts, that'll never cease to amaze us. For instance, this particular human being and what they had to say about sunscreen. Suffice to say, they got burnt. Should've brought the 100 SPF. 

It's as if some people are truly born into this world with no shame. Take the guy who continually pestered the waitress about having an under-poured beer, was proven wrong, and then still had the shameless audacity to demand a refund from there. It takes a certain kind of nasty person to go out of their way to make someone working customer service detest their job more than they already (likely) do. 

It could be because they're insecure. It could be because they just don't care. For whatever reason, social media is absolutely riddled with people trying to prove their own massive IQs and bustling brains. Mostly it comes off as a bunch of unnecessary hairsplitting, ridiculous boasts and ruined jokes. That's the way of the land for cringey brain lords trying way too hard to seem intelligent. It's hard to ignore those mistaken brain lords.

Ugh, there's a moment of shimmering hope in this Twitter thread when you almost think that strange old dude who showed up for the clothes dryer wasn't going to be a piece of garbage, but then boom, he's disgusting. We can only imagine what kind of emotional scarring was left from this terribly creepy encounter. The fact that the dude showed up at her house drunk again (late at night), adds a whole another layer of creepy stalker vibes to this thread. 

Well isn't this just some simply wonderful wholesome holiday goodness? If there's one thing that this quick seasonal post about some kids designing Christmas lights has shown us, it's that more kids should be in charge of designing Christmas lights. 

Some people are just hooked on weaving their webs of lies. It's as if they've convinced themselves somewhere along the path of grandiose delusions, that other folks won't take the minimal amount of time to fact check them. Well, that's just not the case. Fortunately, we've got tons of truth defending warriors spread throughout the vast expanse of the online world, that are just ready to all out the BS when they spot it. 

Not even vampires are down with the prospect of kicking it at the bottom of the sea. I mean, it's understandable. It seems like too often we're hearing about some new, unfathomable monster being discovered in those dark and murky depths. It's pretty much the underworld. So, it's reasonable that immortal beings would eventually end up taking a permanent hiatus from exploring that area.

There's no doubt that Thanksgiving is completely different this year for most of us. Many folks have been forced to cancel their plans to see family members. This is a time that's testing us all, and certainly making us dig deep. But with this tumultuous rollercoaster comes an eventual state of acceptance, and a recognition that this storm too shall pass. Before it does, it's on us to find ways to still have fun during the holidays from the safe and cozy confines of our respective homes. Plus, if any family members bring up awkward topics during a potential Zoom Thanksgiving Dinner, you can just pause your screen and blame it on bad reception. That's quite the clutch get-out-of-jail-free card right there. 

Sometimes dates end up being completely disastrous. We're talking situations that feel like literal waking nightmares. The kinds of gnarly life moments that you'd just as much forget ever happened. These particular dates absolutely fit the bill for that. 

Man oh man, these entitled human beings and their unyielding series of demands just keep on coming out of the woodwork. It seems as if it'll never end. We'll always have the next person ready to ruin an otherwise reasonable and peaceful series of negotiations with nothing short of pure delusional entitlement. In this case, we have an influencer who expects free accommodations in exchange for offering the hotel some exposure. Let's just say she was not nearly established enough for that to even be within the realm of consideration.
