Work is a necessary evil. Doing stuff basically sucks, but it's better than being hungry, wet and cold all the time, so the choice is pretty obvious. Naturally, most of us try to get through the day employing as little effort as possible, and sadly for some of us it really shows. "Not my job" moments of failure fill up our streets and living spaces, providing at least some ironic consolation that everyone, not just you, is doing the bare minimum. These moments of dubious professionalism are far from our best work, and it shows.
Any customer who goes out of their way to count the pieces of meat in a taco that's under a two bucks is really on one. Fortunately, the owner was able to run some quick math to shine light on why the taco costs what it does. Good luck to this customer being able to find anything cheaper. Sheesh. For another story involving a gross level of entitlement, check out this tale about a customer who wanted bigger wine glasses, and the malicious compliance that ensued.
Many of us have gotten caught up in a bad day, and sometimes that bad day can result in someone momentarily refusing to act like an adult. Temper tantrums can break out at a moment's notice. If you find yourself having to deal with someone acting like a child for the silliest of reasons, you very well might be inspired to take a petty revenge like this person did at the ATM line.
One of the best parts about watching a movie is being able to temporarily step outside whatever's going on in your own life, to get lost in the lives of the characters that you see on the screen. So, if you end up watching a movie that's plagued by numerous or just one gaping plot hole, it can be quite the frustrating, disorienting experience. Some plot holes are just too nonsensical to overlook. Maybe these people's observations about plot holes they can't get over to this day will resonate with you.

This nasty neighbor should've just minded their own business, but instead they went ahead and tampered with the wrong lawn. It sounds like this particular Karen was just looking to stir up trouble wherever she could find. Check out some more lovely neighbors that detested each other over here.
So, somehow this reckless driver was also on the phone while all this was going on. Will be fascinated to learn more about the backstory behind this incident out at Daytona Beach.
This is one of those videos that so many folks find themselves helplessly returning to. It's just hilarious. The escalating rage. The relentless passion from the radio station. A masterfully executed prank, really.
This "CEO" was found out pretty much from the get-go. Who signs their texts with "CEO" at the end of it, anyways? That was a bright enough red flag to bring the whole scamming attempt crashing down. From there, the trolling was smooth and well executed. Love the moment at the end when the scammer realizes they've been played for the fool all along.
If you asked us whether we expected someone to go ahead and rank the Marvel movies by if there are any trains in them, we'd have said, no way. But here we are. Good old Tumblr never lets us down when it comes to surprising us with hyper-focused posts on various subject matters. We'll never look at Marvel movies the same.
We're all busy enough with life as it is, without having to deal with scammers trying to waste our time and take our hard earned money. So, sometimes when folks cross paths with a scammer, they decide to turn the tables, and waste some of the scammers' time as well. This guy certainly handled the situation beautifully. For another great scammer story check out the time that a guy prescribed a scammer a dose of his own medicine.
It sounds like this guy's coworker was on some kind of wildly inappropriate mission to stir things up in his marriage, in a way that would create conflict between him and his wife. Especially considering the fact that his coworker had the audacity to continue cracking the "work wife" jokes along with other even more inappropriate jokes. It seems like the only viable option was to kick her out of the baby shower.
There are whole lot of hopelessly clueless human beings out there. Some folks are certainly more lost than others. You might find yourself in the middle of a conversation with someone who has seemingly fallen through the cracks on all matters of common sense. If so, you might just find yourself inspired to whip out one of these clever euphemisms to get that point across.
These customers sound like they came in on a mission to be discontented with whatever the bartender served up, and did for them. So, the bartender served them up a couple big glasses -- as per request -- of exactly what they ordered. Were they just trying to get more wine, with that little request? Maybe.
