Two officers from Halifax, Virginia took it upon themselves to try and ease the otherwise all-time high tensions between civilians and authorites these days by issuing ice cream to a ton of drivers.

When asked why they did it, Chief Lands told Virginia’s ABC 6 that he and Officer Warner just “wanted to try and put some smiles on people’s faces.”

Two things that really got me going here: One, it's almost like he thought by showing the police he was playing Pokémon GO! that he thought it'd be all chill after. Second, I'm pretty sure he was still trying to catch whatever it was that got him in the accident, after being confronted by the cops for CRASHING into a cop car! Sheesh, man. Come on.

As of today, the Nottinghamshire Police, in the north of England, has dramatically widened its definition for a hate crime to include cat calls and any other bizarre sort of way to "hit on" chicks.

Any woman can now report any unwanted attention to police and it will be treated as a crime.

Seriously, how thirsty are these dudes? Apparently, the thirst is strong enough to get a law passed in order to settle things down.

Police released a statement that any “unwanted or uninvited physical or verbal contact” and ” “unwanted or uninvited sexual advances” will get you BUSTED.

Chief Constable Sue Fish of the Nottinghamshire Police said: “What women face, often on a daily basis, is absolutely unacceptable and can be extremely distressing. Nottinghamshire Police is committed to taking misogynistic hate crime seriously and encourages anyone who is affected by it to contact us without hesitation."
