Harvey's Supermarket in Albany, Ga. ended up being the unexpected, though perfect setting for two lovebirds to tie the knot. Mary and Larry Tinson reunited at Harvey's Supermarket where they originally met four years ago on Thanksgiving when they were looking for last-minute recipe additions, to get married. Congrats to these two!
There are times when we look at a picture and straight-up have to pause. Our head tilts, eyes squint, and we wonder what in the world happened to lead this cat to get up onto an umbrella. There's no way to know, of course, since sometimes, all that we have is the picture. So, we are left with having to come up with our own story, and stories about these kinds of amazing pictures can never be covered in anything less than 1000 words.
As animal lovers, these kinds of pictures are our favorites, because there is nothing that we appreciate more than a creativity boost, and these pictures deliver inspiration like nothing else we've seen. And so we made it a mission to find these kinds of pictures every single week and share them with you so that you may enjoy some of that creativity and inspiration as well.
This is the kind of shit that we live for. So many twists and turns. Our weary, struggle-prone bathroom warrior of the hour really spun a good yarn that didn't fail to keep me on the edge of my (toilet) seat. That, or this is kickass marketing by Charmin, interwoven into the fabric of Imgur. I'm going to have to go with the latter, butt in no way does that mean this little tale wasn't the shit, and a nice break from the pipeline of irritable advertising schemes that have a way of clogging up our news feeds.
Istanbul's Aslan Park is home to two big cats who have become best friends. A white lion called Pamuk and a Bengal tiger called Toby who are both only 18 months old have taken over our hearts with their adorable friendship. When they were just four months old, the zookeepers attempted to separate the cubs, but the cubs had other plans.
Daily News reports that Gökmen Aydın, the general par manager, said: "We wanted to separate them as both belong to different species. Then we realize uneasiness in animals. We started to think about the cause. When they got together later, we saw that they want to stay with each other. They became friends within four months," and we just can't help but awww.
Pamuk and Toby sleep most day, like all cats do, but they play together a lot and absolutely hate being separated for any reason whatsoever. "They sometimes sleep while hugging each other," added Aydın, and okay, que some more awws right about now. We wish them a long friendship even as they grow older and as much happiness as they have in general. Their story brought us immense happiness for sure.
Check out pictures of Pamuk and Toby together below! And if you're interested in more happy friendships between species, take a look at this Pitbull and rescued fox cub who are total BFFs.
There's a right way and a wrong way to demolish an office, and it's looking like these guys took the wrong way. Maybe they shouldn't have taken their boss's orders so literally, or could have planned better. Either way what they got was a big headache. This one didn't come down on anyone, but it's not uncommon for a boss to orchestrate their own downfall.
I said hot damn can McConaughey weave one hell of a tale. It's gotta be something with the delivery -- the cadence, the illustrative word choice...the authenticity.
Regardless of what it is that makes this southern gent so particularly gifted when it comes to the craft of storytelling, sit back and enjoy as he talks about that one time his old man pissed himself a shiny new bicycle.
There are certain pictures that, when you look at, you feel absolutely speechless. Those pictures, a lot of times, are the most incredible ones. They make you think, they make you wonder about all the details that led to that weird, funny, beautiful, or simply wholesome moment. And words, even 1000 words, are not enough to describe them.
Those kinds of pictures are some of our favorites because they truly get our imagination running. So, every single week, we bring you a new collection of pictures like that in the hope that they inspire you as much as they inspire us, that they give you the creative energy that we all thrive on.
Fun tip for this week's list: not everything that is a leaf is a leaf.
We've an update about one of the most positive stories to come out of 2020, and the update is just as wholesome as the original story. The (tiny) giant panda cub that was born at the Smithsonian's National Zoo three weeks ago has finally gotten a name, and it is the most appropriate and cutest name of all. Xiao Qi Ji is his name in Chinese, but it translates to 'little miracle' in English.
The little giant panda has gone absolutely viral in the past couple of weeks after a video of his miraculous birth was released by the zoo, and since the world fell in love with the cub, the zoo decided to let the world participate in naming him. Of course, the internet does not disappoint when it comes to baby animals.
We were given a choice of 4 names, and after three weeks and nearly 135,000 votes that have been cast, the adorable name 'little miracle' was chosen. The long waiting period was not an accident, it is part of Chinese tradition to wait 100 days before naming the cub. We wish the little cub luck and prosperity, and for his mother, Mei Xiang, to have many more adorable healthy cubs in the future!
