Altoid tin alterations are pretty popular among the hacking community, but this one takes it down in size. Using the Altoids Slim tins, Instructables user Joshua Zimmerman put together these bite-sized LED flashlights for under $5. With just a tiny bit of drilling and soldering, you could easily assemble a handful of these in an hour or two.

While I appreciate the skill displayed in the other booklamps produced, I feel they lack a certain kludge factor. I think I've achieved that here. Plus, no books were harmed in the making of this lamp!

RO&AD, an architectural firm whose name sounds very much like a quote from an intoxicated Chris Farley, recently designed The Trench Bridge. A pedestrian foot path designed to make us rethink the way we look at bridges, this one crosses the moat in front of Fort de Roovere in Halsteren. A neat concept, but one that would only be applicable on a small scale to bodies of water that stay at a constant depth.

Caron Rotisseries, a company that must have been founded by Q in his retirement, recently released its newest product; a portable rotisserie grill. Perfect for a day at the beach, an EXTREMELY nonchalant office, or if you feel like walking around looking like a professional assassin.

It comes with a removal charcoal pan for grilling and the rotating skewers can be powered by A/C adapter or lithium battery. No word on how much this barbecue beast weighs but at a cost of $719, you're sure to be the only one on the block with one.
