Sorry, you've got the wrong number. Try again, or maybe just get the right one.
How rare is it that we see a text sent to the wrong person evolve into a heartwarming scenario like this one---and with a Thanksgiving dinner invitation to boot! Jamal Hinton is one lucky dude, and you better believe as soon as he shared the original conversation to Twitter, plenty of other hungry teens were ready to beg for their invitations. Fortunately, the numbers have been disconnected!
After a wrong number texted this person with a dramatic accusation, they took it as a chance to be supernaturally funny and string them along.
Dave DiCianni is no stranger to trolling people over text. When he got a new phone number he got so many wrong number texts that he started a blog about it called This Isn't Shannon. That's why when he got a fake landlord asking for money he decided to embark on the following exchange:
This guy got a text from someone who obviously thought he was their drug dealer. Since the recipient of the messages wasn't actually a drug dealer, he decided to troll the wrong number instead, leading him to an abandoned building with, presumably, an armful of McDonald's. At least he won't go hungry?
He ain't never been called Wendy before. But surely people compliment his beard.
Edwin Wheeler kept getting texts from a wrong number, so he answered them politely with proof that he was not some lady named Wendy.
Then, he took screenshots and put the pictures on Imgur like a true gentleman.
"Maybe I should just accept my life as the bearded Wendy," he said.
We know the truth though. She kept 'accidentally' texting him just so she could keep getting pics of that sweet, sweet beard.
We would have done the same.

I got a random text from a number and I decided to play with the person. Note that my texts are green. Funny part is, they're from Puerto Rico and I'm from Central NJ!

I thought my sister-in-law was freaky, now I know it!
