'This is how she acts at work': Wife gets even with husband's flirting coworker, gives coworker's husband a call

I suppose it's only fair for everyone's spouse to be on the same page. That certainly was this Redditor's mentality when she Googled the contact information of the husband's coworker. The coworker had been flirting pretty aggressively with OP's husband, both during and outside of work hours. Thankfully, the husband was communicative with his wife and told her everything, which we know is not normally what happens in these situations.

'[She] got served a massive tray of humble pie': Older sister thinks younger sister's graduation is beneath her, so younger sister gets karma with a classic 'uno-reverse' move

Calling all siblings, this one is a familiar burn. Parents, partners, and besties are supposed to take the high road, but siblings get a pass to the low road. If you're a sibling, you get what I mean. Nobody can talk badly to your sister or brother, that is YOUR job. If you need to teach your sibling a lesson and fight fire with fire, then light it up! Because nobody else is allowed to do that. In this story, however, things may or may not have gone too far… The sisters were prone to squabbling…

'Women drivers, am I right?': Guy sideswipes a woman's car while she's parked; blames her, makes a scene, then gets himself arrested

Everyone wants to play the blame game when it comes to a car accident. They shouldn't have merged here! They were going too fast! They were parked safely and visibly? It's easy to point fingers at the opposing party in any fender bender, but when a guy hits a car that's parked in a perfectly normal parking spot, there's no secret about who's at fault …

Who knew that getting payback could actually lead to positive change in your adversary's behavior? That's what this Redditor learned after they refused to let this regular customer get away with nonsense at the fast food restaurant where OP worked.

'My ultimate dream car': 20+ folks share the first thing they would buy if they were the richest people alive

There is nothing like a hypothetical question to figure out who amongst us is selfish and who is caring. Some of you are far greater individuals than I would be in this situation. But then again, this is all incredibly theoretical. For instance, let's give a warm shoutout to the Redditor who said they would buy up vacant hotels and convert them into affordable housing. Perhaps if I became the richest person in the world, that would be the second or third thought that would cross my mind. Unfort…

'I'll get a doctor's note when you pay for doctors': Company changes sick day policy, employee gets shamed for calling in sick, forced to provide 'proof'

Let's be real here: if your company is not willing to provide health insurance for you, they have no business enforcing a strict sick day policy. Such hypocrisy reveals nothing more than the blatant disregard for the employee's actual humanity, but before we get too serious about this matter, let's also acknowledge how hard it is for companies to enforce certain specific sick day rules and regulations. For instance, if they need you to come in and prove that you are, in fact, unwell as you have…

'The place was THOROUGHLY infested': Landlord ignores tenant's roach infestation problem, tenant gets her fined 3x the amount she could have spent to fix it

Most landlords only consider temporary solutions without thinking about long-term consequences. Personally, I know the agonizing frustration of having a never-ending roach problem all too well. My first New York apartment was in an old building and by day two after my move-in, roaches started to show up. We got an exterminator, who did the bare minimum and nothing changed. We tried to talk to the landlord about it, but they just sent the same exterminator guy back, who this time informed us tha…

'I only matched [with] you as a social experiment': Top Tinder Moments of the Week (November 19, 2023)

Finding kindness on dating apps is like an elaborate game of Where's Waldo: you know it's there somewhere, but you have to scan through a lot of nonsense to find it. Of course, there are success stories that allegedly make all of those hours spent swiping worth it. Sure, the chances that you will find your soulmate might be slim, but at the very least, you are destined to get a couple of good stories and maybe even a free meal or two out of the whole “dating thing.” In this economy, that's wort…

New fear unlocked. So, this man bought a used car about seven years ago. Everything checked out, the car ran great, and all of the paperwork was in order. The only peculiar thing he noticed was that he was putting "miles" on the car pretty fast, but he didn't think much of it because he drove a lot and took a lot of weekend trips. Fast forward SEVEN years when he took the car into the shop. After arguing with the technician about how many miles were on the car, the OP uncovered the truth.

'I missed the part where that's my problem': Tenant enjoys an 'I-told-you-so' moment after refusing to cooperate with unprepared realtors; agents get locked out

For some odd reason, realtors and landlords seem to think that everyone is sitting around at home all the time. Because they like to think we're loafing around the house at all hours, it means that they can simply pop by at any moment, expecting us to be ready to greet them at the entryway. Newsflash: Tenants have lives and we are not waiting on your beck and call.

Everyone's stayed at a hotel or motel at least once in their life. Being a customer-facing worker means having to put on a smile even when you are about to spontaneously combust underneath the surface. However, every so often, you get the opportunity to serve a little malicious compliance and/or some petty revenge along with an entitled customer's meal. 'Fine by me': Manager demands nurse goes home to dry damp hair, maliciously complies and gets paid to stay home for 2-3 hours as her hair naturally air dries

Have you ever interviewed for a job that requires a certain hair type? You'd think that would be jobs like hair modeling or… or?… Actually, I can't think of another, but it's not a common thought when applying to a job. Maybe how you're supposed to do your hair, if it's business professional attire or whatever. However, if you're applying to be a nurse, your only hair concern would probably be if you can tie it out of your face or not. Maybe even have it short enough that you can tuck it under…
