The Great Canadian Blueberry Heist needs to be a movie in my lifetime. That's all there is to it. I will accept nothing less. This is one of those double take-worthy kinds of stories: you see it jump across your social media feed, doubt everything about it, and proceed to have your world rocked as you develop a strange craving for Blueberry Pie. Yo, for real thoug. It's got everything I could want in a slice of crime: the big getaway, the ridiculousness of $100K of blueberries being stolen, and the fact that it's a tale of thievery with Canadian roots.

Florida Man is to superheroes what Billy Bob Thornton was to mall Santas. Seriously though, it seems like an inordinate number of crime news articles start with a male from the Sunshine State getting into some sort of legal trouble. Something in the oranges, perhaps? Regardless, here we see an enterprising Twitter user taking it upon himself to chronicle the misadventures of everyone's favorite alcoholic, drug-abusing, domestically violent, sociopathic, prankster/criminal/general numbskull out there. It's a burglary, it's a DUI, it's Florida Man!

The Smoking Gun tells the story of this man who siphoned gas from a cop car, had his girlfriend take a picture, and uploaded the picture to Facebook. The police found the picture and promptly arrested him on charges of a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in court yesterday.
