From CBS Boston:

A game of Monopoly ended with a young woman under arrest in New Hampshire.

Hooksett police say they were called to a home on Post Road late Sunday night for a report of a domestic disturbance.

Alyssa Ferraro, 21, told officers "she got into an argument with her boyfriend over a game of Monopoly and open hand slapped him in the face," according to a police statement.

The boyfriend was not seriously hurt.

From the Queensland Times:

It will be alleged the man – who was wearing a flower pot over his head in an attempt to conceal his identity – entered the store about 4.30am on Monday, while two staff members were cleaning a coffee machine.

Wielding a chainsaw which was running at the time, the man lunged at the store attendants, who retreated into a back room.

Police allege the man then used the chainsaw to damage a window and several display racks in the shop, before exposing his buttocks to the store attendants. He is accused of damaging a parked vehicle upon fleeing the scene.

Health insurance isn't easy in the United States, but this is something else entirely. Via Fox 8 Live:

…when the officer asked Diondre why she provided the hospital staff with the wrong name and information, Diondre pointed at her shirt and told the officer, "They must have gotten the name from this shirt." The shirt that Diondre was wearing was a memorial shirt for her deceased sister, Delores. Diondre Jones was booked with one count of Medicaid fraud and also had an outstanding attachment for failure to appear in court from a previous arrest.

Here's what the husband had to say in a Facebook post later:

WHOOPS!!! Note to self: Next time I have a 1.5m snake loose in my car, don't let my wife drive it. […]

A couple of days earlier I had a python escape from a bag (mistake no.1) inside my car and Nat knew this but had assumed I had found it again and I didn't tell her otherwise (Mistake no.2).

Last night I was sound asleep and I get a call from her saying "I just opened the door and there was a snake coming out from underneath the steering wheel in the dashboard". Whoops!!!!

My bad.
