Impressively Unprofessional "Not My Job" Moments

Maybe the task is too difficult, or maybe you're just too difficult. "Not my job" moments encapsulate how the laziest among us deal with problems. These "solutions" may be majestically incompetent and ridiculously unprofessional "not my job" reactions to a hard task, but we can't say we haven't done similar things at some time in our lives.

"Not My Job" Moments from The World's Slackers

In this busy world of ours, it's easy for things to slip through the cracks. Maybe a pole gets installed wrong here, or some road signage gets misspelled there. Many of us would look at these and say "we better fix that" but another great many of us say "good enough." The resulting impressively unprofessional "Not My Job" moments are indeed good enough, but in a different kind of way.

Insane Customer Demands Refund for Her Own Vase She Ruined

We're not sure what kind of person tries to spray paint a four hundred dollar vase, but it makes sense that it's the same kind of person who demands that the store she bought it from pay for her mistake. We're kind of hoping this customer is lying about the whole thing in order to defraud the store, but given the stupid-ass customers we've dealt with in our own lives, she's probably telling the idiotic truth. For a triumphant story of an employee who actually gave an awful customer a piece of their mind, check out this cashier who told off a Karen and lived.

Demanding Customer Wastes Their Own Time for Four Cents

Sure, if the hill you're willing to die on costs four cents out of the charity bin, go ahead and die on that hill. Customers sometimes make demands with stupid implications, like this customer who wanted a pound of chicken wings and got less wings or this guy who demanded to ride in a go kart with no engine.
