As debate heats up in the UK about the possibility of an independent Scotland, some activists decided to have fun with "The Evil Empire" of the Labor Party.

Sometimes you hear of a man so annoying, so unpleasant that a whole coutnry decides to troll the shit out of him. 

That man: The reality-TV gameshow host Donald Trump, the President of the Unitied States for some reason. 

That country: Scotland.

On Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, correspondent Amy Hoggart traveled to Scotland to see how the country made trolling Trump a national pastime.

Richard Macrae was given the homemade card for his 30th birthday by a friend as a joke. But when he presented it in shops, bars, restaurants and cinemas, Mr Macrae was surprised to find many retailers agreed to take money off his purchases. "People have always given me stick for my hair colour but now I'm going out three nights a week and saving a fortune. The joke's on them," said Mr Macrae.

A fireworks festival at Oban in Scotland went awry, releasing the entire load of explosives (meant for a half hour long show) at once. So, minus one very nice well-produced fireworks show. Plus one "Minute-long-spark-and-boom Party".
