Artist Herb Williams installed these Crayola fire sculptures in the National Ranching Heritage Center at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. The piece, entitled "Unwanted Visitor: Portrait of Wildfire," uses thousands of crayons and was inspired by the Texas wildfires of the summer of 2011. Check for more information in the via link!

This 28-meter tall cathedral (titled the Luminarie De Cagna) was built for Belgium's 2012 Light Festival. Check for more information and a video from the event in the via link!

German street artist EVOL created an underground installation, called the "Northern Cross", which visitors could walk through. The contrast between city and urban is pretty cool, eh WINners?

This nifty art installation tracks your movement, turning off a series of sprinklers and giving you a moisture-free "walk in the rain." Nifty!

Milan-based design group Carnovsky created an installation that's a little different than the norm. The group painted three separate wall murals using the primary additive colors (Red, Blue, Green) combined with lights of the same color within the room. Cycling through the lights gives you three entirely different looks in the room as murals become more or less invisible.
