Chelsea Herline's father was cleaning up his house when he discovered a 4-day pass to Disney World with one day left unpunched. Setting up dad's much anticipated "that's why you hold on to things" moment.

Chelsea took the pass to the front window of the park and IT WORKED!

“I just went up to the window. I wasn’t expecting to spend the day there; I didn’t bring anything (or anyone) with me,” Herline said. “They were pretty surprised. The girl working there was younger than me and said, ‘Wow, I’ve never seen one this old before!,’” she added. “She called her manager over and they were super nice about it.”

Dad Assembles Ghetto Selfie Stick to Take Pictures of Birds in a Tree

There is a time and a place for a selfie stick and this dad has jerry–rigged one for the perfect occasion.

At first, Reddit user Qgin thought his dad's "selfie stick" made from a car window washer, some crumpled napkins, masking tape and his iPhone 6 plus was a complete joke. But, that was before dad demonstrated its full potential.

Tristan, a third-grader in Missouri, was selling cups of lemonade for a dollar outside of the Davis’ family yard sale to help raise money for adoption fees. Over the last four years, Donnie and Jimmy Davis have had legal guardianship of Tristan Jacobson but have been unable to come up with enough money to afford the fees.

In the end, the total from the lemonade and yard sale surpassed their initial $5,000 goal, as the family together raised $7,100 to pay for Tristan's adoption. A crowdfunding campaign was also set up that gained $6,900. The additional money will go towards Triston's college education.
