“Why did the chicken cross the road?” Apparently because it wanted to kill itself.

At least that’s what someone on Twitter realized the other day. The old joke that kids across the world say and don’t understand might be a reference to suicide with “the other side” being the afterlife — or in the case of planet Earth someone’s digestive system.
