The statue will be inscribed with the words ‘I’m just a kid from Brooklyn’, a line of dialogue from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’.

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Captain America, Marvel just announced plans to unveil an enormous bronze statue of Captain America at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Cheers, Cap'n.

I'm not in the business of telling people how to do their jobs, but if you're an elected official and want to instill trust in your constituents, show up with a Captain America shield.

Lan Diep proudly wore a Captain America shield on his arm while taking the oath of office this week.

Dan Liep says there's "no metaphor."

“Except that it represents America’s ideals and I do hope to aspire to those ideals of fair play, equal justice, and democracy during my term,” Diep said. “But really, I just had this awesome shield and I wanted a chance to show it off.”

So wear that shield. Your constituents will either love you or think you don't take this job seriously at all. One or the other!

In an interview with GQ, when asked about his take on the potential for a Captain America and Winter Soldier romance, Sebastian Stan said,

"Look, man, I think it’s great. Movies are for people to relate to in whatever way they want. No one here is ever going to point a finger and say what’s right and wrong. For me, it’s like, Awww. It’s cute, it’s great. If someone takes the time to think about that, that's great. I don’t think of the character that way, though. But there’s no right or wrong answer."

And soon, very soon we will have a real life Iron Man and Thor will return to earth to pick things back up again with Natalie Portman and Hulk will escape from his secret underground government cage to smash some sh*t.
