Spider-Man

Spider Man, Spider Man, has more actors than we can keep up with. One of the cornerstones of the Marvel Universe, if you have a Amazing Fantasy #15 squirreled away, or crush on any one of the Spider Man actors to grace the screen, you'll be laughing in your leotard in no time.

German photographer Markus Reugels creates these shots by dripping water in front of a high-resolution image and quickly capturing the drop in mid-flight. The drops almost perfectly capture the image in a cool globe. Check out more in the gallery below, including some of his pop-culture-inspired pieces!

School sucks, right?

Some nerd with chalk tells you what's what, and it's like, ugh, when am I ever going to use this? So you retreat back to your phone. But what if Spider-Man was your teacher? I bet then you'd straighten up and fly right.

Moises Vazquez, a science teacher from Mexico City, is discovering just that. Apparently, students don't really give a shit when he teaches without a mask on, but as Spider-Man, people are stuck on his lessons. Inspired by an issue of Spider-Man, where the webslinger is a subsititute teacher, Vazquez finds that the costume lightens the class mood and gets students more engaged in the lesson. Can't argue that.

I wish my teacher was Spider-Man. :(

Aaron Purmort discovered he had a terminal brain tumor soon after he met his wife, Nora McInerny. Since the diagnosis, they have been sharing details of their struggle with the world through their blog myhusbandstumor.com.

And before he died, the couple decided to co-write his humorous and touching obituary, which was published over the weekend in the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Purmort, Aaron Joseph age 35, died peacefully at home on November 25 after complications from a radioactive spider bite that led to years of crime-fighting and a years long battle with a nefarious criminal named Cancer, who has plagued our society for far too long.

"I've never laughed and cried more in one sitting, but I'm so glad we got to do this," Nora wrote on the blog.

The end of the obit also states that he is survived by his "first wife Gwen Stefani," which Nora tweeted about following his death.

The family set up a crowdfunding page to raise money for medical costs and to help support his wife and child.
