Disclaimer: no injuries occurred.
I was traveling from Indianapolis to Whitewater, WI for a practice weekend with Machine Ultimate. I was going 70mph (speed limit) on I65 north. I travel the 3-4 hours by myself every time and use singing as a way to pass time, and critique it later. At this point I was practicing a nasal type voice on a Casting Crowns song when the crash happened. I was watching the road and saw nothing that caused me to worry. Simply hydroplaned in a heavy rain. My car slid sideways, and then was completely backwards by the time I slid off the road and went down a small hill. I hit a mile marker sign (230) on my way off the road. Here are two of the most amazing parts: I sustained NO injuries. Not even a scratch. And my car took NO mechanical damage and is completely driveable. Only body damage
Man, any time we see a landlord try to pull a fast one on a tenant, and then the tenant proceeds to teach them a lesson, it warms our hearts. In this case, it really just seems like the landlord didn't expect the tenant to do their research. From there, soon as the truth came to light, you can pick up the clear scent of resignation from the landlord trying to continue onward with their antics. Check out another time a shady landlord was defeated by a moral enforcer.
Never underestimate the kinds of petty lengths people will go to in the workplace environment to make their power known, or get back at a particularly insufferable coworker. This collection of petty power moves are as impressive as they are just terribly petty.
Uh oh, we're back at it again with a fresh round of spicy, clever comebacks that just nailed it. As long as the world's had social media, we've had people butting heads online over the most trivial of matters. Well, there are the trivial matters, and then there are the careless, impossibly foolish human beings of the world that really had it coming all along.
I wish I knew one of these sorry individuals that had to go stigmatize themselves with stupidity, before their presupposed championship teams actually, well you know, WON. For the meanwhile, these strangers and their well-documented, supremely obvious mistakes will suffice.
