Submitter gsimon was in a hotel room with no phone charger. A data cable, a paper clip, a key, and the batteries from the keyboard of the set-top box combined to make a fine substitute.

Submitter says: "I've had this wallet for a number of years now, and haven't had the heart to throw it out yet. The "staple shield" (a cut-up Ziploc bag) is there to prevent myself from getting poked by the staples that protrude from the inside."
