Mad props to Bill. The legend handled this blatant show of insensitive disrespect like the national treasure that he is.

Villains Who People Sympathized With

Some classic movie villains are just having a bad day, had a tragic backstory, are trying to protect the people they love, are straight up following a contract, or just get attacked by the protagonist for no reason. On the other side, sometimes a fictional character is written or portrayed so well that they inspire genuine feelings of hate.

Jonathan Frakes aka Riker from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" also notably hosted the show "Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction." For those not in the know, the show presented stories that you had to guess were real or not. However, with all these intros cut together like this, Frakes just sounds like a bored child in the back of a car.

TV/Movie Phrases People Never Say In Real Life

"There's no time to explain, follow me!" Yes, there is definitely time to explain. The amount of times we see this particular TV/movie scenario involving a rushed individual telling someone to follow them into situations of obvious peril, without offering an explanation, is absolutely absurd. It's like, take a second, and provide a little context, my dude. Oh well, it clearly contributes toward that stressful pacing, and keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.

This fun AskReddit thread features a whole lot more of those moments from TV/movies that just don't hold up in real life as we know it. It'd be quite the strange world if we saw more of these phrases being used. Like going to a bar, and just ordering a "beer."

For more fun movie content, check out these plot holes that people just couldn't look past.

Many of us have dreams of finding an old hat or something, taking it on Antiques Roadshow and finding out it was worn by Lincoln when he gave the Gettysburg Address. Not many of us think to treat it like a garage sale and bring in a flatscreen tv that was made during the Obama administration.

Nothing quite brings the blood rushing to the face like being called out on live TV for stealing. Yes, Ellen and her team's hidden cameras managed to catch some audience members very clearly not playing by the rules. Naturally, the ensuing moments of folks getting called out were filled to the brim with cringe.

We get a truly comprehensive, impressive rant from Conan O'Brien's Associate Producer, Jordan Schlansky, on why Star Wars is better than Star Trek. His brain was clearly up for the challenge. Apparently the rant was supposed to end much sooner, but Conan and his team didn't cut him off. Thank goodness.

This is the trailer for RareBirdInteractive's "Sinfeld Chronicles" and while we have no idea about the content of this game other that you "have to collect the 57 Kramer Krystals and bring Kramer back to life" it looks like it's up there with the greats. That's right. Halo, Tetris, Mario, and Sinfeld.
