Tumblr Thread: Batman's Normal Son, Brad Wayne

Batman's psychology has always held a special place in our hearts. Maybe it's the brooding darkness. Maybe it's the inherent weirdness of a billionaire genius detective martial artist who punches crooks in a bat costume. Maybe it's the extreme seriousness and psychological drama punctuated by tight pants. This time, Tumblr users explore the concept of a member of the bat-clan who's just like, a pretty okay guy. For more tumblr deep-dives into superheroes, here are Batman villains as talk-radio therapists and the saga of a mystified man who's able to identify superheroes.

Twitter Thread: Woman's Boyfriend Throws Batman-Themed Party

Every now and again it's nice to take a break from the incessant series of fails that we all share in this life to instead honor some good old-fashioned wholesome love. In this case, we have an epic birthday party that was thrown together by Twitter user @SparkyMularkey's boyfriend. Basically, he threw the Batman-themed birthday party that she always wanted. To say that he put in a full effort wouldn't even do the thing justice. The attention to detail is next level. Way to go, bud.

Twitter Thread: Real World Implications Of The Avengers

Naturally, the Marvel movies portray all those iconic superheroes in such a way that there can oftentimes be a skimming over of the finer details, finer details that look like a whole lot of busted mailboxes and cars. If you have someone like Thanos roll into town to square off against the Avengers, you can pretty much count on your local grocery store being uprooted from the literal face of the earth. Also, probably every other store.

About half of us were first exposed to now-famous superhero comics via out-of-context comic panels used as internet memes, but we looked up the original issues and those memes are actually UNDERSELLING the glorious stupidity and insanity of the original stories. Stories like the Joker's erotic fixation, Captain America's public "wanking," and the time Batman got slap-happy with his little buddy.

Marvel Movies Ranked By If There Are Trains In Them

If you asked us whether we expected someone to go ahead and rank the Marvel movies by if there are any trains in them, we'd have said, no way. But here we are. Good old Tumblr never lets us down when it comes to surprising us with hyper-focused posts on various subject matters. We'll never look at Marvel movies the same.

Tumblr Thread: Mystified Man's Able To Identify Superheroes

This fun Tumblr thread imagines a world where a man possesses the ability to see people's threat level (as numbers 1-10, with 10 being most dangerous) above their heads. From there, we see a fun scenario created where the guy is able to identify iconic characters like Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, Wonder Woman, and Robin for what they really are. This inspires quite the funny picture. It would be rather confusing to see a whopping 10 above a billionaire's head.

For some more gold from Tumblr, check out this fun thread that takes a look at the logistics behind Davy Jones' curse

Ryan Reynolds Live-Tweets Reactions To "Green Lantern"

Ryan Reynolds has been admirably straightforward about his feelings regarding the monumental cinematic flop that was the "Green Lantern" film. If you've seen it, you know exactly what he's talking about. It was such a disorienting, discombobulated film that rarely (if ever) had a moment where the viewer could actually get comfortably lost in the movie. So, naturally Ryan Reynolds decision to provide his colorful, spicy commentary on the film resulted in some gems.

The history of the Justice League is almost as long as the Snyder Cut's runtime. And it's chock full of fascinating stuff, especially at the beginning like Wonder Woman's love of BDSM, Superman's origins as an evil homeless guy, and Darkseid's insatiable thirst for monogamy. Also, Batman was blonde. This is CanonBall.

Superhero movies are here to stay and so, apparently, are their super strange tropes like superwomen smiling after being punched, "serious" superhero films taking place in insane asylums, and longing for some romance always leading to a loss of superpowers. "Doctor" Jordan Breeding is technically out this week, but thankfully The Incredible Spider-Professor Angry Hands Hammer Man is here to save the day!

Tumblr Story: Avengers Meet The Death Star

Now that's a fun way to put Ant-Man's iconic toys to good use. We can always count on Tumblr to deliver on the universe crossovers. It would be awesome to watch various Avengers react to a sighting of the Death Star. Thanos would've probably been stoked.

Many of the stars from the X-Men movies reunited to celebrate the real life superheroes. That didn't stop Ryan Reynolds from being his typically mischievous self, and crashing the whole thing. Love the ongoing banter between Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

You can really get a sense for the vast amount of effort that went into creating this. Cool stuff, and shouldn't take up too much of your time. Two minutes. Wow.

Tumblr Thread: Captain America Sees Through Nick Fury's Genius

Wow, this is one of the best parts about the world of Tumblr. The dedication from fans to analyze the tiniest of details in various films. In this case, we're dealing with Captain America: The First Avenger. The thread looks at why Steve was staring so intently at the "nurse" who came in to check on him. The jokes suggest he was checking her out after taking a long snooze. While this thread says that Steve was observing the mistakes present in the nurse's getup. From there, it's suggested that Nick Fury did it intentionally. That sly genius, indeed.

G forces are very strong, sometimes even stronger than Spider-Man. We really hope something tingled his spidey-senses and made it necessary to stop doing this show and make a radical leap toward justice.
