While some unruly customers want to turn every interaction into a struggle, this one went down in a quizzical manner. Sometimes it takes being the bigger person to show a rude customer how much of an ass they're truly being, like this Karen who was defeated with overwhelming kindness. For some more customer junk, here's a tumblr thread on infuriating, entitled customers.

Tenant Refuses to Give Up Parking Spot for Disabled Lady

Sometimes we find ourselves in awkward situations, especially when it's over a finite resource like parking. There are plenty of times handicapped parking spot hogs need to be taught a lesson, but this situation has a more complex backstory than some rando just illegally occupying a handicapped parking space at the store. The most important thing to do in these situations is to take a step back and think "why am I in this situation?" In this case it seems like the apartment manager may be the one to blame for all this madness.

Guy Who Didn't Work at Walmart Fired by Walmart Manager

This random dude wearing a blue shirt had a run-in with a manager who was eager to fire someone she didn't even recognize. This one's kind of the opposite of this chef who was hired by a law firm just to foil the security guard. Employees of huge retail chains have to put up with some strange problems at work, like this guy who got hired and through a series of mistakes, never did anything but still stayed employed for months

Entering into a family has got to be weird, and it seems like grandma here hasn't exactly warmed up to the idea of having two extra grand kids. Family politics can have big ramifications, like when this sister was uninvited from a wedding for her comments

Tumblr Thread: The Plague Village That Pulled a Bro Move

Leave it to Tumblr to find some freaky historical outliers. Here's the tale of a tiny village that found itself with plague and what happened after. Could it be described as a "total bro move?" Tumblr Thread: Becoming an Ant God

It stands to reason that if you saw a circle of ants chanting your name, you wouldn't just ignore it. Well, you shouldn't ignore ants in general; that's how you get ants. But still, if they formed a tiny circle and started praising you, it would be hard to let go. This tumblr thread takes the premise to its logical conclusion of roommate disputes being fought through the lens of ant holy war. Here's another good one about tumblr imagining aliens being fought off by wildlife.

Boss Expects Work Without Pay, Gets What He Pays For

This boss wanted a manager that he didn't have to pay extra. Instead of going along with the BS, this employee decided enough was enough and let the boss get exactly the amount of work he was paying for. Karen Mistakes Nametagged Dude for Employee, He Rolls With It

The mighty hubris of another horrible customer comes crashing down. For whatever reason, some customers really hold onto that "customer is always right" approach even when they're told that that they're not actually talking to an employee. Irate customers mistake random people for employees all the time, and the results are wonderful.

So basically, it's stories like the gem that we have with this one from Tumblr that prove that earth might seem easily conquerable, but there's an unanticipated punch waiting to be unleashed underneath the surface. Who knows? Maybe we already have alien homies hanging out in the ocean or something. There is apparently something like 90% of that big ol blue that has yet to be explored. Kid Infiltrates Walmart By Wearing Neon Vest

Anyone who has worked anywhere knows that you could walk into just about any business or institution carrying a ladder, holding a clipboard, wearing hard hat or hi vis jacket and not be questioned. It's not necessarily a good idea to impersonate staff, and it's probably some version of illegal. But as this kid attests, it can be done. For a while at least. For some rule bending, here are some loopholes people were able to exploit for years. For more Walmart junk, here are some of the weirdest things Walmart employees witnessed.

Overworked Employee Revolts By Doing His Exact Job Description

People often find after they're hired that their job description doesn't cover nearly as much as what they're actually expected to do. Already stretched to the limit with a dwindling and under-qualified staff, this guy was asked to "do his job" so that's exactly what he did.
