People are full of surprises, and we have a whole lot more energy in our reserve tanks than we're conditioned to give ourselves credit for. Let this superhuman comeback serve as a testament to that. Unreal.

Literally nobody saw this coming. She emerged from the underworld itself, and blazed by the rest of the competition when everyone else had counted her out.
News channels and a lot of the general public aren't exactly sure what to make of the Area 51 raid that all started off as a joke Facebook event a few months ago (and inspired these many area 51 memes). It looks like people are actually showing up for the event. Anyway, here's one of the promised Naruto Runners.
We love a good old-fashioned TIFU. This guy was out hitting the trails and thought he'd challenge himself to a little race. He unknowingly ends up sprinting up on a terrified young woman in the darkest part of the trail, where he finds himself face-to-face with her ready to karate chop him out. Sounds like he managed to survive the incident, and proceeded to awkwardly powerwalk himself into the sunset.
Hearing that exercise is good for us, isn't enough for a lot of us. Sometimes it takes a video like this, or some other force built from within us, in response to external circumstances, to actually take to the open road, or the treadmill, or the weight rack. It looks like this video's making a splash, and sending off waves of encouraged positivity. We recommend checking it out if you're looking for that extra bit of inspiration to throw as fuel into your tank.
You haven't really made it till you've up and joined one of those neighborhood Facebook groups, where miserably bored people bide their time with all-American level petty complaints, and five-star spicy comments sections. Follow the Facebook post and its ensuing A1 RUTHLESS comments section for a special treat at the end. Hint: it is not this dude's first time pulling something like this. We're (very likely...) witnessing the work of a masterful troll.
Don't tell British runner Laura Muir not to take a victory lap, got it?
Over the weekend, Muir won the gold medal at the European Indoor Athletics Championships. But because the schedule for the events were so tight, officials tried to keep her from her victory lap.
Then Muir realized she's a great runner.
