Company Tries Selling Printing Supplies to Printing Company

Cold calls for unnecessary services are a pain, but these people put themselves in a no-win situation. They must be pretty bored at the call center t try this hard to sell printing supplies to a printing company. For some professional time wasting, here's a guy who sent a scammer on a crazy ride.

OK then. oc L not sure if this quite counts as malicious compliance but just doing they wanted so guess fits mid 00's worked small printing company, our commercial work on large lithographic machines but still had office printers and number staff who knew lot about them.

Karen Manager Orders Employee to Print a Video File, Gets Fired

You don't need to know much about computers to understand that being asked to print a video file is a stupid endeavor, but this manager wasn't having it. Apparently this was the last thing on top of a pile of other complaints that led to her professional demise. Sometimes managers really don't know whats up, leading to stories like this employee who robbed a museum to prove a point. Here's one about an Aunt Karen who offered exposure for art payment and her scam fell apart.

IT Guy Performs Printer Exorcism and It Works

People have such a limited understanding of technology that the office tech support person can seem like a literal godsend. IT has to deal with some of the worst tech support gore around, and managers who don't know what computers are. This guy had to deal with a problem printer, and used an unorthodox method.
