Police Officers Share Laws They Feel Uncomfortable Enforcing

Someone on AskReddit asked for police officers to share the laws they feel uncomfortable about enforcing, because they don't necessarily agree with them. We've got responses like, how they don't particularly want to bust people out having a good time on the river, as long as they're not being total inconsiderate animals. As well as, angelic cops who literally carry nickels on them to feed the meters to avoid writing tickets. Wherever that is happening sounds like a hell of a place.

Some laws that may have been appropriate 100 years ago may have just fallen through the cracks, therefore they're still on the books and seem pretty funny to us now. Some of the crazier laws still on the books as of 2016 are: • Wisconsin- It is illegal to serve butter substitutes in prison • Virginia- Children are not allowed to go trick-or treating on Halloween • Tennessee- It is illegal to share your Netflix password

The federal government might be shut down but Michigan lawmakers are hard at work protecting our right to a good value. Rep. David Knezek (D-Dearborn Heights) and Rep. Brandon Dillon (D-Grand Rapids) have written a proposal to amend the state Liquor Control Act to make sure that when a pint of beer is offered at a bar or restaurant, customers are getting an "honest pint."
