Tumblr Thread: The Still On-Patrol Submarines

There's a tradition in the U.S. navy that no submarine is lost at sea, and every Christmas a broadcast is sent out to all the crews of those subs still on duty. Naturally, tumblr took it and made it into a whole ghost ship thing, which is somehow macabre but also heartwarming. Why not, people see some unexplained stuff at sea. For a totally classic navy story, here's a Navy operations officer who pulled the laziest move ever.

The original description was the folks who submitted the video reads:

I was having breakfast with my family. At about 10:30 am, my dog started barking and ran to the front door. I was waiting for a courier delivery and I figured it was the driver dropping off the parcel. I went to my front door and looked out the window and no one was there. Then I received a notification on my cell phone the motion sensor on my door bell was was activated. My first thought was that the delivery had arrived, so I opened the door and went outside to retrieve my package. Nothing was there, so I walked down my walkway but nothing was there. This is when I decided to log into my alarm account and see what triggered the motion sensor. As I was watching the video, I saw a translucent image floating across the screen. I had many thoughts running through my mind at that moment, mostly confused. I played the video over and over. My family looked at it too, they were puzzled. This was when I took it to social media. I posted my video and asked my friends and family 'what do you think?'. Since then, I have seen so many theories and explanations. From guardian angels, spirits, bugs, raccoons, leaves, plastic bags, shadows, everything. One psychic who viewed the video told me the bench located on the bottom right corner of the frame had a connection to this translucent image. That bench was given to me by a very dear friend just before he died. The last conversation we had was on that bench, just the two of us. I would like everyone to see this video and see for themselves what they think. It's amazing how many different perspectives there can be from a 30-second video.

Traumatized Guy's Twitter Thread About Cursed Ouija Board Experience Will Possess You With Fear

And to think that I thought I'd sleep tonight. NOPE. Seriously, it is high time for this guy to make power moves and start contacting studios. He's got the (cursed) bones of a great story here. Bullsh*t or not, I was hooked from the get-go with this thread. Solid storytelling, with a voice (cause f**k grammar) that really shines through. Was it his mean Aunt coming back to haunt him and his cousin from the grave? The water on the floors seems to suggest that possibility. And the whole part with the shotgun's safety mode being off? I mean, come on, man.

13-Year-Old Finds Something Spooky in Her Selfie and Is That a G-G-G-G-Ghost!?!

Lots of weird things happen in pictures, like have you even noticed that phenomenon where people lips purse out to make them look like a duck whenever they take a picture. Who is that for?

But sometimes things even weirder than duck transformations happen. Sometimes people see ghosts.

Like when Jessica Ogletree took her kids fishing and her daughter decided to take a selfie. What did they find in the picture? A ghost congratulating her son on the big-ass fish he caught. Way to go, Kolton.

The comments are lighting up with theories as to what this acutally was and whether it was a spirit from beyond the grave!

Yo, Sting...that woman with the baby was no ghost, bro. I'm just taking a gander here, and am gonna float out the possibility you had a sweet, midnight hour brush with a bedside psycho. That, or you were on some wild kind of substance, and I want some.

Human-shaped spirit caught on camera, or just another sh*tty, potentially photoshopped picture? These are some of the reactions via Lex 18's Facebook page so far:

NBC's Lex18 reports

"The crash occurred 5:30 Tuesday afternoon on Highway 15 near Stanton. Officials tell LEX 18 the person on the motorcycle was the only person involved and he was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Saul Vazquez, the man who took the photo, posted it on Facebook and said he took it from the cab of his truck. It has since been shared over 16,000 times in just 10 hours.

Lots of people are drawing their own conclusions about the photo, but either way it’s causing a huge conversation on social media. LEX 18 reached out to Vazquez, all he would he would say is that the photo has not been altered."
