Thousands of hours of game shows on TV over the years means that there have been of thousands of opportunities for bona-fide idiot responses.

Usually when you say something stupid you have the good fortune of not being recorded for national television so that millions of people can't bear witness to your blunder. Well, that wasn't the case for these poor souls who's epic brain farts were broadcast for all to see.
SO far south of the wrong answer I don't even know what to do with myself right now. Was their intention all along to get a momentary spike in viewer ratings by portraying the perils of entering a game show with one's brain set to mouth-breathing, listless gaze 'off' mode, or what? If so, mission accomplished guys.
