There's so much stuff out there that looks like tasty food, it's a shame that a lot of it is housing insulation, spackle, spider eggs and dice. In a perfect would we could eat a rock that looks just like a steak, and we'll have to settle for using our imaginations. We're sorry, you tempting delicious cliff steak.

Sometimes, while navigating our incredible world, we forgot to smell the roses, or in this case, taste the multi-colored dice that look like fruit gummies. There are so many delicious looking things that aren't actually food out there, and while it's best not to try to lick a ball of uranium, it sure looks tantalizing.

Why do they make earplugs look so goddamn tasty looking? Here are things that look like food but would either taste bad, be impossible to chew, break your teeth, or bite you back. It's a world of fungi that look like donuts, landscapes that look like rare steaks and just delectable looking spider eggs. It's stuff that looks like delicious food but isn't.

When you consider what proportion of the things in our world are edible, it's kind of a miracle that we can find anything to eat at all. And these doors, landscapes and random objects are an extra wrench thrown into the gears of what looks good to eat. There are just a lot of objects out there that look like tasty food but are totally not.

We've all had moments where we've seen a colorful marble or eraser and thought "man that looks just like delicious candy." The world is full of delectable looking things that look like food but totally aren't. And while we're not gonna actually start eating zip ties and paint, it's at least a fun exercise to see all the forbidden foods out there.
