We don't blame most people for crappy first pitches. It's pretty understandable when some local celebrity who hasn't thrown a ball in their life can't get it across home plate. This however, is pretty damn bad. Pretty sure she hit the camera itself.
Lucille Fleming has a mean arm on her and she proved it at the Aug. 26 Rangers game.
The 103-year-old got to throw out the first pitch for the game, making one of her dreams come true.
She described the event as "heavenly" and said she recently survived a harrowing trip to the hospital in hopes that she could see her Rangers play.
Just look at that curve.
The Rangers should have kept Fleming on the mound because they didn't have too much luck against the Toronto Blue Jays that game. Fleming's favorite team lost 12-4.
Way to root for your home team, Lucille.
Tom Willis is a 50-year-old Kansas City Royals fan who was born without arms. But he wasn't going to let a silly thing like that stop him from throwing out the first pitch at a Royals game against the Minnesota Twins. Not only that, his first pitch was 10 times better than the dinker that 50 Cent threw back in May.
