But once a kid grows up, has their first minimum wage job, and becomes a real adult, our career priorities shift a little bit. After slogging through a 40-hour workweek, peeling off your socks after a double shift, or when you're simply burnt out, suddenly, a high-paying job where you work a few hours per week starts to sound really good.
