If you don't get a fresh eyes to review your work, you can end of with some really not good signs and designs. Whether they're completely nonfunctional or end up being accidentally filthy, the world is full of design fails that need some time to better themselves.

There are some really not good signs out there. Whether they read as complete gibberish or and up horribly filthy, there's some folks who might need to rethink their one job. Worse than that, sometimes people design products and signs to be horribly misleading and those too are wildly frustrating. 

If you're in the business of writing copy, designing signs, or making products, it's best to get a fresh set of eyes to look over that bad boy before calling it good. Seriously, there are too many people who mess up their one job. Apart from that stupidity, sometimes products and things are designed by jerks to manipulate you, and that's even worse.

Some things aren't gonna be perfect on the first try. Whether it's a sign that accidentally says "fart", a bus stop with a stupid roof or a pole literally in the middle of the road, there are design fails out there that need some work.

If you're into stupidly redundant construction decisions,  shirts that accidentally say "anus," or signs for businesses that also accidentally say "anus" than you've come to the right place. Let's be real, some design can use some extra thought, and some of it, like these magazine layout fails, are freakin awesome.

Don't let the world fool you, almost everyone is doing a bad job all the time. Whether you edit news and magazine layouts or have ever designed stuff that needed extra thought, there are a monstrous amount of failures performed by everyone every day. Sure, it might not be your fault. Sometimes life just hits you with some misfortune. Anyway, here are some from folks who had one goddamn job.

Soulless people will do anything to make a quick buck. They'll make uncomfortable standing airline seats to save on space, charge people to go to the bathroom, advertise a cheap product and charge a hundred dollars for shipping, literally hide fine print by making it the same color as the background, and do even more devious BS when they think of it. These are examples of deceptive and crappy products. Like seriously, these were designed by the devil.

It doesn't get much better than a sweet headline fail. We're happy when someone screws up, but when someone makes an inappropriate design fail in a newspaper or magazine, it just gives it that extra feeling of stupid that we get to savor like a warm bubble bath. Sometimes reality just takes a steaming dump on hopeful expectations. These are solid situations where things just didn't quite go as planned. And you know we gotta document as many situations when expectations didn't quite line up with reality. 

People have a knack for putting spikes on things that they don't want other people to sit on. Apparently that's the preferred course of action instead of going about having some calm and reasonable conflict resolution. In some cases, it looks like the spikes can't rival the stubborn resilience of homeless people that are just looking for a semi-covered place to crash and grab some sleep. 

Apple's iPhone 11 is triggering everyone's inner trypophobia like none other. There's just something extremely unsettling about those little robo-eyes being placed together so closely. It's like they're staring into the depths of your soul, and plotting how they're going to destroy you. All in all, an unnerving design from Apple on their latest iPhone. We can see why people are uneasy. 

I guess if you want to not pay someone for their work, it's a pretty bad idea to start off your plan by handing over the keys to your site. Karma hit hard here. It's generally a better policy not to lie and steal, especially from people who have a plan to strike back. Kinda like the time this guy got stiffed so he grouted a bathroom with sugar.

If you didn't have faith in yourself at work, fear not, because someone out there is screwing up more than you. And it's not just one person screwing up. There are oodles of folks not doing their one job, and the results are consistent and abundant. The world is just bursting with dumb and weird design fails. This is just some of them.

The world has its fair share of design fails. When people are involved in anything, things will go wrong. And since design is specifically a thing people do, there's a lot to go wrong. Ads and packaging make stuff look like it's gonna be fantastic. I mean, sure it's the job of a commercial to make a burger look like the be-all-end-all of burgerdom.
