To the uninitiated, the world is noisy as hell. There's all kinds of whirring and beeping and chirping. Often, deaf people are surprised to find that things make a sound. Then there are some things that deaf people don't expect to make a sound, like this kid who was shocked to learn that farts make a sound. When you think about it, it seems like the sun should make a sound, shouldn't it?

"I was driving along when I see this deer struggling to survive. I felt obligated to help her, so I pulled over, trekked through the woods, and crawled out onto the ice. I used a rope to pull her out. I am so glad she is safe. Now we need to find her mom.
