Mr. Broccoli really missed his opportunity to capitalize on having a platform to discuss climate change. Instead we just watch a moron use the platform to roleplay a vegetable. Yikes.

There's nothing funny about the horrible toll that the reality of climate change is currently taking on the planet. There is something somewhat goofy about people falling over themselves to wrangle a loose blood hose.

20 People Confess Why They Don't Believe Climate Change is Real

These people don't believe that climate change exists. Although their arguments aren't exactly held up with concrete pillars (more like paper straws), everyone is entitled to have their own opinion. These opinions were found on the anonymous truth-spilling website Whisper - if my argument for not believing in climate change was this weak, I'd probably want it to be anonymous too. Anyway, here are the most interesting reasons why some people don't believe in climate change. Enjoy the laugh.

Idiot Asks "Social Justice Warrior" To Explain Climate Change, Looks Like an Idiot

Only in America would the idea of someone fighting for social justice be considered an insult. You know who else is a SJW? Batman. Do we not like Batman anymore? Come on, nerds. You guys are nerds. You should love Batman, nerds.

Anyway, some regular ol' dum-dum who has probably said "Wow, I can't believe it's this warm in January" or "Crazy that it's snowing in April" at least 17 times in his life decided to let the world know how dumb he was by tweeting this:

Let's do this!

Neil deGrasse Tyson Proves How Oblivious People Are With Sarcastic Tweet About Climate Change

There isn't much funny about global warming and ice caps melting to devour entire coastal regions. So, when truth-teller and earth roundness expert Neil deGrasse Tyson decided to add some humor to a depressing reality, the people weren't ready.

The BrandalismProject, is a self-declared anti-advertisement art movement and has claimed responsibility for over 600 fake advertisements recently installed throughout Paris. The driving force behind the group's effort is the beginning of the UN Climate Change Conference.

"Amidst the French state of emergency banning all public gatherings following the terrorist attacks on 13 November in Paris, the 'Brandalism' project has worked with Parisians to insert unauthorized artworks across the city that aim to highlight the links between advertising, consumerism, fossil fuel dependency and climate change," BrandalismProject said in a statement.

The project is a collaboration between 80 artists from 19 different countries and the targets include AirFrance, Dow Chemicals, and Volkswagen, which is getting a lot of attention for perpetrating an environmental fraud.

volcanic eruptions can explain global warming hiatus

"This new work shows that the climate signals of late 20th- and early 21st-century volcanic activity can be detected in a variety of different observational data sets," said Benjamin Santer, a Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory scientist and lead author of the study.

The warmest year on record is 1998. After that, the steep climb in global surface temperatures observed over the 20th century appeared to level off. This "hiatus" received considerable attention, despite the fact that the full observational surface temperature record shows many instances of slowing and acceleration in warming rates. Scientists had previously suggested that factors such as weak solar activity and increased heat uptake by the oceans could be responsible for the recent lull in temperature increases. After publication of a 2011 paper in the journal Science by Susan Solomon of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, it was recognized that an uptick in volcanic activity might also be implicated in the warming hiatus.

Today Mars is an arid, frigid desert, suggesting that the mother of all climate changes happened there, about four billion years ago or so. The question that haunts planetary scientists is why? And could it happen here?

"I think the short story is the atmosphere went away and the oceans froze but are still there, locked up in subsurface ice," said Chris McKay, an astrobiologist and Mars expert at NASA's Ames Research Center.

In September a new spacecraft known as Maven, the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution mission, swung into orbit around the planet. Its job is to get a longer answer to one part of the mysterious Martian climate change, namely where the planet's atmosphere went.

Small volcanic eruptions account for part of the global warming slowdown since 2000, a new study suggests.

Until now, the climate impacts of small volcanic blasts were overlooked because their planet-cooling particles cluster below the reach of satellites, scientists reported Oct. 31 in the journal Geophysical Research Letters. It turns out, satellites were missing about 30 percent of these particles, called aerosols, the study found.
