Outdated Advice That Just Doesn't Make Sense Anymore

It's not like anyone wants to give you bad advice. Well, maybe these hilariously bad and dumb life pro tips might be exactly that. This incredibly dumb financial advice also falls into the category of "straight up don't do this." That said, times change and some previously ubiquitous good ideas find themselves no longer belonging, whether it be due to evolving technology, changing social ideas, or the rapid decline and corruption of various institutions.

Companies "Improved" Products That Are Objectively Worse

Because we're human beings, we're entitled to our hyper judgmental rejection of anything new and "improved." Sometimes companies work hard to make their beloved products legitimately cheaper and inferior, especially in the case of Cadbury Eggs. Those used to be great. Now everything is too marked up for its own good. Sometimes things just change with the times, like cars not having CD players anymore, which is inarguably worse. Who the hell wants to buy a digital copy of Hybrid Theory when there's a perfectly good physical copy of it somewhere around here.

Things People Liked as Kids but Hate as Adults

As you age, your sense of self changes, and you realize that your personality is based mostly on commercials and the fact that you used to have more cartilage in your knees. Aging starts at your first encounter with utter BS and continues with factors you didn't anticipate about adulthood, but in the end, you're better for it.

Person with Obstructive Name Asks If they're Right to Change It

Sometimes parents get it in their heads that to show the world that their child is a unique and brightly shining star, they'll name their kid something wacky. Maybe it'll be an extremely convoluted set of syllables, or in some cases of horrible names people encountered the name itself is a compromise or even a joke. Whatever the parents intentions, it can be detrimental to ones social life to have an unfortunately wild and silly name.

Petition to Sell Montana to Canada Is Well on It's Way to Making Its Goal

Change.org has been host to some pretty questionable petitions, such as "let people drink the red liquid from the dark sarcophugus" a few months back, when a really old Egyptian Sarcophagus was exhumed. (It got over 34,000 signatures!) Anyway we're not sure if selling Montana to Canada would solve the debt crisis, but it sure is a neat idea. Here's what people, even some self-proclaimed citizens of Montana, had to say.
