Simpler times

It's about time we read some good news. Usually, neighborhood stories are all about neighbor drama, HOA's, and the Karen next door ruining a pleasant Sunday afternoon, but this next tale is truly a wholesome one.

We're all working to eventually retire, right? Apart from the 1%ers and people whose entire identity is entwined in their career, most of us just want to age out, cash in, head to Florida, and live out the rest of our days on the beach with a piña colada in one hand and a good book in the other.

When a fully-fledged adult flops financially, they can usually move back in with their parents to bounce back. There's that memorable stigma of the 'wanton failure' moving back in with mom and dad that's been ingrained in our heads since the dawn of rom-com rock bottom movie intro.
