Twitter Thread: The Wild Sequel To "One Hundred And One Dalmatians"

So, apparently the world's missing out on the actual treasure that could be the "One Hundred And One Dalmatians" sequel movie. I'm just getting a kick out of imagining what the creative process was when it came to crafting this story.

A funny Twitter thread about the sequel to The Dalmatians.

Tumblr Breaks Down Young Adult Dystopian Fiction

Like Pixar movies and Harry Potter, the denizens of Tumblr have always had a strong knowledge of young adult dystopian fiction. For a while there it was like every new book for tweens was about a teenager in a messed up hierarchy forced to play games of death. There's nothing exactly wrong with that. It's just that like anything else, people's favorite books of their early teen years have become a coldly optimized version of themselves, designed to take advantage of a cultivated interest. Tumblr has a habit of noticing things, like when Tumblr broke down the nine types of movie posters.

Bookworm Student Has Book Confiscated, Master Plan Springs Into Action

We love a good old-fashioned wholesome petty revenge. Anyone who has a proclivity for reading books will likely get a kick out of this sweet tale. It's awesome that the teacher didn't meet that master plan with frustration, but instead just broke out in some appreciative laughter. For a more intense revenge tale, check out this pro revenge story about a testy HOA member who got someone's car towed, and then had the favor repeatedly returned

Tumblr User Expounds Tolkien's Wonderful Nerdery

Tumblr users apparently have a lot of time on their hands, and they use it for amusingly specific and labor intensive thoughts like the relationship between elves eyes and the curvature of middle earth, or discussing the full versions of classic sayings. We're glad people get so into stuff, like this Tumblr thread that makes history fun.

Humorous Tumblr Post Imagines Where Books Come From

So well, today I learned that books are adorable when they're first hatched. With that being said you've got to hand it to the imaginative minds of Tumblr to take us to creative places we never saw coming...like, where on earth books actually come from? On top of that, Neil Gaiman backs the theory, so it might as well be recognized as totally legit. For some more gold from Tumblr check out this post about how relationships evolve over time

Library Themed Humor to Check Out

As we get older, most of us tend to think less and less about libraries, and in a way that's regrettable. It's a confusing trend too, because as we've gotten older, our desire to take advantage of free things has only gotten stronger. Knowledge is power, or something. Here's a twitter thread of a librarian's insights about the general public.

Regrettable and Dumb Spelling Fails

School wasn't fun for any of us, but in the long run it can pay to know how to spell really basic stuff and not look like a moron in public. On a daily basis, people come in contact with a lot of spelling fails that make us curse our education system. At least spelling fails make someone feel smart.

Tumblr Story: Mom's Esteemed Book Club Crashed By Dirty Music

Our ongoing existence is so comfortably infused with technology that we forget how easily one of our devices can completely disrupt an otherwise peaceful environment. In this case, we have a seemingly calm and collected book club meeting on Zoom get stormed by the infamously raunchy song "WAP." Quite the entertaining little Tumblr story. If you're looking for more gold from Tumblr check out the time that Tumblr users analyzed the movie, "The Incredibles" to oblivion

Tumblr Thread: Honoring The Legend, Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg forever. This interesting Tumblr thread takes a look at some of Snoop Dogg's backstory, and at one point shines light on the fact that between Snoop Dogg and his baking show co-host, Martha Stewart, she's the one who actually served time. With that being said, the word is that Martha never snitched. Check out some more Tumblr gold with this thread about a daughter hilariously crashing her mom's book club.

Hilarious Tweets From The World Of Hogwarts

This wonderful Twitter account takes a look at the world of Hogwarts without the rose colored glasses. We can easily forget how much darker the humor in the iconic movies would be with just a few elements changed. In all fairness, Harry Potter did possess an uncanny knack for always using the Expelliarmus spell in circumstances that certainly called for something with a little more pepper in it.

This librarian offered up their various insights they've picked up from observing the general public that flows in and out of the library. All kinds of endearing moments. Fictional Characters People Genuinely Hate

Sometimes a character is created to be hated by design, and you have to hand it to the creator for making such a realistically hateable person. Other times the character's actions over time build up until you realize that putting them in a realistic context implies that they're something like an irresponsible traitor to their family. For more thoughts on media, here are simple plot holes that ruined movies for people.

With commentary from SciManDan, we're taken through an amazing journey as a flat earther rips up a children's science book that he deems to be round earth propaganda in a Target. He buys the book anyway, so while he seems content with his incredibly limited world view, what he truly fears is the wrath of a Target manager watching him destroy product. Just kinda makes you sad.

Tumblr Physicists Theorize About Curvature Of Middle Earth And Legolas' Scary Elf Eyes

Tumblr physicists took things a bit far when they theorized about the curvature of Middle Earth, and why Legolas' scary elf eyes are so haunting. Sometimes it's best to just accept the fantasy world as it comes. Now we can all await the day that Flat Earthers adopt the, "we're actually elves" theory.
