Every now and again it's nice to take a break from the incessant series of fails that we all share in this life to instead honor some good old-fashioned wholesome love. In this case, we have an epic birthday party that was thrown together by Twitter user @SparkyMularkey's boyfriend. Basically, he threw the Batman-themed birthday party that she always wanted. To say that he put in a full effort wouldn't even do the thing justice. The attention to detail is next level. Way to go, bud. 

When Twitter User, @everywhereist, suggested that the Joker should be a female, men proceeded to absolutely lose their sh*t on Twitter. It would be a vast understatement to say that they're NOT down with DC Comics star villain being a female. 

Comic book writer Lilah Sturges wrote a lengthy thread pointing out a lot of the stupid things that make up the DC universe. In DC's defense, it's probably hard to write stories about the same characters for decades and decades without making a key part of their character laughably dumb.

Bless you and your ceaselessly entertaining Twitter banter, Ryan Reynolds. But also, can we please get Deadpool in an Avengers movie? 

Wonder Woman should've known better than to toss shade at Deadpool, the king of witty banter, himself.

We're honestly not too surprised that one of the main points of contention with the Justice League movie, is the whole Henry Cavill CG-mustache debacle.....cause 2017's coming to a close here, and we're all but desensitized to the idea of a damn surprise as it is. For those unaware, Cavill couldn't remove his meticulously manicured mustache for Justice League due to contractual obligations he already had with Mission Impossible 6. The reactions surfacing on Twitter since the movie are a fine mix of indifference meets (unnecessary?) outrage. 

During an interview with the Justice League cast, Ben Affleck let slip a rather cringeworthy sentiment about how the team dynamic would be impacted were Supergirl to join forces. Yeah Ben, we've been following the news, man; and heard all about Hillarie Burton accusing you of groping her in 2013. 

How could we have missed this the first time! Maybe Harvey Dent was just running a little bit slow from the unworldly amount of pain he seemed hellbent on subjecting himself to. I mean, the dude did just have half his face fried off; but screw Advil right?
